leave dhs and eat where?

what is close by that is a good dinner choice before we go back in the park? there is nothing at dhs we want to eat, can you give us some suggestions?

take the boat to Epcot...if you have parkhoppers, you can eat at any of the World Showcases restaurants. If you don't have hoppers, get off the boat & head towards Boardwalk area...Cape May buffet at the Beach Club, or Captain's Grille at Yacht Club. For fancier meal, Yachtsman Steakhouse at Yacht Club or Flying Fish at Boardwalk. Also at Boardwalk, Kouzzina, ESPN,and some others...also restaurants at the Swan & Dolphin.

thank you, we just aren't familiar with the maps yet and knowing the Boardwalk is close gives us lots of choices!

ESPN and Big River Grill both look good and have food we would enjoy, any thoughts on these?

They're both okay, better than the places at DHS, but nothing spectacular. I find ESPN way too noisy (typical sports bar noise), so once was enough for me. If you like beer, the Brewery might be a better choice.
BTW, there's also Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club if you like "soda shoppe" food.

good thought, it looks like there will jsut be the two of us, and dh wouldn't mind it but i would get a headache an be crabby, not a good scenario
