Can anyone tell me about the leave a legacy tile a
Epcot? :earsboy: :earsboy:

We did this in Feb.... We used it as our extra we got from booking through AAA. We just had the 8 year old and the 2 year old do it. I'm not sure you can do more than 2 on a tile (either that or more than 2 looks crowded). They take your picture as many times as you like until you get one you like, then they send all the info to you after a few weeks (where your tile is, how to find it, and a picture of it.)

My 2 year old would not sit still for the picture, it had been a long day by then, but the CM was patient and took the pic several times until he was smiling and not blury from trying to jump down off the riser.

I believe if you don't have a voucher for one of these it costs somewhere around $25.

We got one during Millennium Celebration. I think it was $38 for the image of the two of us (the single most hideous photo we have ever taken and, although we may not be supermodel material, we both usually take a good picture). The image is about an inch square. They give you a locator--but I think it was mailed to us after. There was a website for it too--don't know if it is still active. Anyway, we make a habit of visiting the ugly thing as soon as we get to Epcot. This year, we will have the pleasure of frightening four family members with a viewing.

Oh, we also got "Leave a Legacy" pins, which were cool because I collect pins. That's all I can remember, hope it helps.

We too had our picture's done for this when it first came out. Yes, I agree the pictures are not that good , but what can you excpect on metal tile. It is one of the first things we do each and every trip. We go see our tile. It now has become a tradition to start our trip. When the GK's were there they thought it as great that their MOm Mom and Pop Pop had their picture on a wall at WDW. I know a lot of people bashed the walls that they looked like a cemertary, but I thought (my own personal opinion) it was nice to have a little part of me at Disney.

Here are our two from late '99. In the two center tiles, Vince (with beard) and Natalie, Marie and I in the next one to the right

And an overall view by SE.

I like them, just as I like the bricks from Walk Aound the World.
