Leave a Legacy Tile

Hello,

I have ordered a Leave a Legacy tile by email as a surprise for my DF when we are on honeymoon in December. I have a reference number from Disney - is this enough for me to be able to find the tile when we get to EPCOT? Or will I need any more info?

We did one of these a few years back and i have to admit that it is not the easiest of things to find, even with the codes,but that is all you will need.

Is it the email way of doing this that is closed down or will you not be able to do a tile when visiting Epcot?
We wanted to do one for our next trip.
Can someone let me know

Oh no don't tell me they finished doing the tiles We have been meaning to get one for the last 3 years and never got around to it.

They have tons and tons of space left so it would be a waste if they have!

I didn't even know you could do it by email I would of done that if i'd known.

sorry you missed out on it, like you I thought it would be there for a while as we were going to do another tile this year and make it a tradition.

I'm just worried for those of us who have done the tiles that they will get rid of them sooner which would be a shame.

We bought a tile around the time they first started the scheme. Unfortunately, we then lost the co-ordinates, and so was unable to find it again. Over the years, we must have walked for miles up and down those tiled-monoliths, looking for the right picture.
Then, last time we were in Epcot, I decided to walk over there for yet another bout of scrutiny ...and this time found it straight away!!!

Hello,

I emailed disney regarding my tile at EPCOT and this was the response that I got:

Thank you for participating in our Leave a Legacy program. Leave a Legacy did close on June 16, 2007, but please do not worry that this will effect your tile. Your Legacy is set to remain in its present location at Epcot until our 20th Anniversary in 2020. It will be mounted for the remaining 13 years.

Maybe Disney should expand the alliteration in the title, and rename it 'Leave a Limited Legacy'?

Have to agree with that! It's a legacy that lasts 20 years??

i'm so glad we did the tile - it was part of our cruise package...
the picture is of the kids....
we had such fun looking for it the next time we were at WDW - their tile is right in front of the fountain - a perfect, easy to find location....

i hope they don't get rid of the tiles come 2020....
