Okay, now I'd like to know what your least favorite DVC resort is. If you choose HHI or VB, I'd like to know if it's because it's not located in WDW or you don't like going to the beach, or something else. Also, this doesn't have to mean that you dislike the resort, only that you love it just a little less than all of the others.

Again, I'm sure these questions have already been posed multiple times, but I love polls and statistics, so humor me.

Thanks!

Would you consider breaking down your poll to separate WDW DVCs from HH and VB?

Many owners only use the WDW DVCs, and possibly always will. To judge unknown resorts in the same category as familiar ones won't really answer the question as to whether it's a judgment based on experience or intent to visit. :confused3 (Unless you clarify the question by stating "Based on your experience.................) :goodvibes

This post has the potential of starting an all out war. Resort Bashing, retaliation, etc. I think it would have been better to just ask which is your favorite and what makes that resort special to you?

Just MHO!:confused3

Never actually been to either (and i'm sure they're very nice), but if I want to go the beach, I go to Cancun. I own 3 weeks at the Royal Sands (bought resale for a lot less than DVC prices).

Okay...the intent was not to start a war. I'm not looking for resort bashing, and I would prefer that those who actually respond with a comment limit it to resorts they have actually visited.

I didn't vote because I really don't have a least favorite, I have not been to HHI or VB but enjoy *all* the DVC resorts so far. Each has it's own special feel and features.
If I had to make a call it might be VWL, only for the not so good transportation.

I have stayed at them all except HHI, BCV, and VB. Out of the ones I've stayed at BWV was my least favorite, I'm not saying my visit was horrible, but it just wasn't up to par with my visits to the other DVC's.

I can't vote.
I've only been to two... my beloved BWV and the charming OKW, which had availability for a desperately needed escape. They are both fabulous.
Hey, about your question? It's like asking which is your least favorite child... IMO you are not going to get a lot of enthusiastic participants.

Hey neighbor.... some are right that this thread will become a war thread, but since you asked... as a couple now.... we did not really enjoy bcv. We think bcv is for kids and bwv is for adults.

I'm surprised at how close the poll is running so far (no clear 'least favorite').

I voted for Villas at Wilderness Lodge - not that it's because I dislike it, it's just my least favorite of the resorts I've stayed at so far in my DVC career. I haven't stayed at VB (will be there in about a month), SSR (will be there in October), or BWV - so I'm not qualified to compare those.

Hopefully, this is how it ultimately turns out. :thumbsup2

Yep. The question is pretty hard to answer, honestly. I've simply not had a bad DVC trip in 5 or so years - 2x a year. Disney's doing lots of things right with the DVC resorts.

It'd be like asking me what's my least favorite meal: prime rib, lobster, or filet mignon? All of them are wonderful (and much better than my day-to-day meals), but I'd be hard-pressed to pick.

Does VWL still share a bus with FW?

Had to say HHI because of the distance to the beach and fewer dining options. Even though my least favorite - I still like it!

Ironically, more people have responded to the "least favorite" poll than the "most favorite". I too think it's interesting how even the distribution is on this one...that's why I love statistics!

For me our least favorite is VWL. Didn't care for the darker decor and had a really bad experience there. What makes DVC so nice is that one persons least favorite might be another persons favorite. We have a great number to choose from.

We've stayed at all except HH (which we will for a night in October) and SSR (which I'm sure we will at some point). I'm sure we might also try AKL at some point but I don't think that will be a favorite for us either.

LOL, when I answered the favorite thread, I didn't realize you already had this one too!

We stayed at VWL last November and I didn't really care for the darker decor either, but I loved the proximity to MK and I really liked the woodsy setting and the lodge itself.

You are so right about one person's least favorite being another person's favorite. I really like having such great choices, and I know my family is happy to stay at any of the resorts. They are all certainly special and really enhance the magic of our Disney vacations.

I voted HH - we absolutely loved the decor and the grounds but the noise from the room above us doing normal activity was awful and would make me seriously rethink visiting there again. Luckily the staff was great and was able to move us b/c it was not busy but I just wonder if we'd get that lucky again.
