We'll be headed to WDW in May and need to get six of us (two carloads with carseats and luggage) to the Minneapolis airport by 5 in the morning. We don't really want to get not just one but two family members up to drive us, so we're checking into van/limo services. Parking two cars at Park 'n Fly will cost us $145 each, so anything under that would be saving us money, not to mention meaning we don't have to be coherent and attentive at 4 am! Anyone in the Twin Cities area know of a good, reliable, reasonably priced service? So far the best I've found is Aspen Limo and that's $125 each way. If I can find cheaper, that's more Grand Marnier Slushies I can have while I'm at WDW!!

You might want to ask some neighbors who travel a lot.

Here in the Chicago suburbs, there's a couple taxi companies which are a lot cheaper than limo services. I've had great luck with the taxi. We can even request a mini-van for about $10 more. I assume you have similar things up your way.

Book an airport hotel the night before your flight. We were did this for $49/night and the hotel had a free shuttle to MSP. We were dropped off by my father in law and he will be there to pick us up today when we land..... we are on the plane now.....

Hotwire.com has some good offers for airport hotels. I got a good deal (not thru hotwire but instead a good friend) and would do it again. We stayed at Fairfield Inn MOA.

I know this isn't a service, but maybe THIS would help you... dudspizza had posted this a few weeks ago... 4 days of parking for $11. (Extra days are $11/day)

Although having someone else do the driving that early sounds awfully nice! Have a fun trip!

Many hotels do Park, Sleep, Fly. Check out the SpringHill Suites Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport/Eagan. For $109 it includes a night in the hotel (no ridiculously early panic ride to the airport, 8 days of parking and a free shuttle right to the airport.

3635 Crestridge Drive · Eagan, MN 55122 USA

If you decide to go this route leave all your big bags packed and just have a small carryon for the night before with PJs, toothbrushes and any other essentials.

Would you by chance be taking the 7:00 AM Delta flight on May 12th? I ask because of your 5 AM arrival time and your ticker indicates 1 month and 3 weeks. Note my ticker...

We're on the 6 am Southwest flight. I'll wave to you as we take off! What time do you get to MCO? You're likely on a direct flight while we have a stop (no plane change) in Chicago. Get to sun and mouse ears at 11:30! When do you return? We'll be there til May 20th.

A couple options we've used...we're up in Ham Lake to give perspective.

Used Total Luxury Limo out of Vadnais Heights this last year for a special birthday trip. Had an 8 pass limo and it was AWESOME! They are great and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. We've used them many times in the past. They even took us through the McDonald's drive through for egg mcmuffins.

We also use EZ Park which is the company mentioned in Dud's discount offer earlier. We got our dicount card in the mail last week and are really excited about it! We love them and they have been nothing but great in cusotmer service, friendliness, convenience and timeliness.

And we did the park, sleep, fly option as well. This was last year. It was our least favorite option. We always take the 7:00 Delta flight as well and just didn't find the whole process very easy, relaxing or enjoyable. We were at the Holiday Inn in Eagan. We parked, finally got all checked in, got the rooms and the kids were crazy hyper. Took them to the pool, had some dinner and then putzed around until bed. We were up bright and early for the shuttle to the airport the next morning. In reality, we would have rather saved the money, parked ourselves and slept in our own beds where we had more control over the kids and the craziness.

You are so lucky to be flying out of Terminal 2. That can be MUCH quicker that Terminal 1. Our flight is non-stop and arrives at 11:15. You can wave at me when you take off, but I will wave at you as we fly past. :cool1:

We head back on the 19th. Never enough time down there.
