Which restaurants are the LEAST crowded in the Magic Kingdom and all of the resorts? I don't mind going real early for dinner. Or if there are tables outside would be a plus...I do NOT want to be in a crowded atmosphere. Thanks. Leaving tomorrow.

Leaving tomorrow? Take me with you! I can't think of very many non crowded restaurants<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_4_3.gif' border=0></a>, but I just wanted to wish you safe travels and have a great trip!!!!!!!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_2_116.gif' border=0></a>

Well,
I know you didn't ask for EPCOT restaurants, but I always find Akershus and Marrakesh to be really quiet and non-crowded.:wave2:

It's really busy right now because of Spring Break- I just got back today.

Everything in the Magic Kingdom will be very crowded. You'll want to phone ahead for Priority Seating if you're looking for a table service or buffet meal inside the MK. You'll probably find the character dining locations (Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner) the most crowded.

If you opt for counter service in the parks, I'd recommend hitting at a really off time to avoid the worst of the crowds.

You ask about eating at "all of the resorts"... if you can narrow down what resorts you mean, what park you want to be near, or what kind of dinner you're looking for (quick burger, or full service/gourmet) you'll probably get lots of good suggestions really quickly!

Mostly- know that it WILL be crowded. Priority seating arrangements and lots of patience and flexibility are my best recommendations for dealing with the packed conditions.

Have a great trip!

MK is a little tough, but if you do the earliest dinner at almost any of the restaurants like the LTT, or The Plaza they probably wont be to bad. That goes the same for the counter-sevice places as long as you go at the off times (between 2:00 and 4:00) Also if you hop on the monorail you may get luck at Kona Kafe or Concourse Steakhouse.

Even during peak times of the year, we have gotten tables last minute in Epcot at Marrakesh. I think the cuisine there is unfamiliar enough to scare a lot of people off. The meals we've had there have been excellent - and the entertainment has been wonderful. We highly recommend it

Oh - and we have some really picky eaters in our family, who don't venture far from grilled cheese sandwiches or hamburgers. They all loved the food there too :)

How about a monorail ride to the Kona Cafe at the Polynesian? It usually isn't too crowded and it will be a nice break from the craziness of the MK. You can check out a menu at www.allearsnet.com for a recent menu. I'd call ahead for a PS once you arrive at WDW.

I find the MK to be very crowded all year round!

Leaving tomorrow? Woohoo!!!

I always find the Columbia Harbour House in Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom pretty good Counter Service. There is an upstairs area that I usually find pretty empty and peaceful.

The MK restaurants are all almost always jammed, although I agreed with the poster who said Columbia Harbor House is usually ignored by the thundering masses (miss their Monte Christo sandwiches, though!).

Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square was also overlooked. If it's still open (and if not, someone correct me), you'll find it at the end of the path leading from Liberty Square to the Castle.

As for resort restaurants, Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary is never too bad - unless the restaurant queue area suddenly gets slammed by guests w/out PS's turned away from Chef Mickey's.

If you really want to get away from the crowds you could just hop the monorails and go to a monorail resort such as the Grand Floridian Cafe for lunch or the Concourse Steakhouse for lunch or dinner.
