Learning Animation at Disney Elementary-Age

My son is really interested in making cartoons, how it's done. Is there any place hands-on at Disney for kids to "make" cartoons? Anything at Disney Quest? I can't think of anything.

I can't think of anything either. The closest hands-on I can think of is Animation Academy, which is more like drawing a single character still. However, in the one at HS you can also see a separate mini-movie about the creation of characters, and if I'm not mistaken there might be a few things in One Man's Dream that go through some of the history of how older Disney movies were made. Sorry... that's the best I could think of. : /

Not sure when you would be going, but they do offer an Animation History course through the YES Individual Enrollment program.

My kids are taking it in June, but there only a few offered throughout the year.
