If you had to pick one for lunch which would you choose? The menus look similar so is the "experience" different at the two locations? Planning on going in April.

Thanks!

The menus for breakfast are quite similar, but the lunch options are actually notably different. Personally, I prefer the lunch/dinner options at the Leaky Cauldron. The atmospheres are similar too... so honestly I'd decide either by the specific items on the menu you'd like to try or by whichever park you happen to be in around lunch time. :-)

(For the record, the "specialty chicken sandwich" at the Leaky Cauldron is drool-worthy.)

3B all the way. LC has nothing on the menu for us, as we are vegetarian. 3B has some stuff, and I just like it in there better.

I prefer LC. The menu is more to my liking. The Banger sandwich is one of my favorites and it is a really nice dining area.

3 B's. The menus are quite different for the things we would eat. (This is for lunch/dinner. I've never been to either for breakfast - and never ate at LC, just peaked in since there's nothing on there menu for us).

I prefer the food at 3Bs and like their back patio. At LC they had seating assistance and they brought your food after ordering at the counter. At 3Bs you stand in line to pay, then stand in line at another counter to pick up food and then wander with tray to find a seat. I would think if you have a bunch of kids that LC might be a bit easier.

When at the 3b's, staff handles my tray and takes it to a table

They have done this each time I am there on my solo trips

We're doing lunch at 3B and breakfast at LC because the LC lunch/dinner menu doesn't appeal to my daughter, but she really wants to eat at both.

When we were there last, we did find our own table. However, on every other trip, they escorted us to a table.

We are going in April and my daughter is a vegetarian. Do you have any restaurant suggestions where we can get decent vegetarian food (she can always eat a salad of course but sometimes something a little more substantial is desired).

Leaky Cauldron felt more "authentic" to us, but that's was probably more because of the more unique menu items (which seemed more "Harry Potter-ish" than the chicken platters at 3 Broomsticks).

We enjoyed the food and atmosphere at both, though, so I would pick whichever one offers the menu items that your family would prefer most.
