Have you ever written a poem, but wasn't sure how good it was? Or just wanted to share them with people, but didn't want to throw them in people's faces and be all "ZOMG! LOOK WHAT I DID" and scare them away? Well, congradulations! You've come to the right place! *cheers*
Post things that you have written here...or ones that you've come across and liked. But if you do that, please credit the writers. Plagiarism isn't cool. I've gotten accused of it before (even though I DIDN'T PLAGIARIZE . The fruitcake of a teacher just thought I did). So, if it was done by someone else, credit them please!
Here's one that I wrote about two weeks ago:
Cute, little children play.
Innocent. No one believes they can do any harm.
Until they grow older and humans turn to prey.
Invincible. Nearly impossible to disarm.
Fluffy, white clouds float above.
Beautiful. Appear as harmless as a bug.
Until they turn gray and destroy all we love.
Babies cry. Graves are dug.
Slowly, day turns to night.
Peaceful. Not a worry in sight.
Until a candle's flame burns bright.
Life turns to ash. Joy turns to fright.
Underestimation-the ultimate downfall.
I had just watched a trailer to a horror movie when i got the idea to write it...so that's why it's so dark.
