How is Le Cellieur, the steakhouse in the Canada Pavillion? Has anyone tried it? I heard its hard to get a reservation, but we're interested in trying something new.

Thanks!

It is our favorite. I had the best filet I have ever had. Could cut it with the side of my fork and melt in your mouth. The cheddar cheese soup is awesome and the pretzel breadsticks. Mmmmm
ADRs are VERY hard to get. You will need to call in the AM on your 90 day mark.

I highly recommend Le Cellier

The Pretezel bread was great

The Filet was awesome!!!

The deserts are wonderful

I guess you can tell that we love this place:cool1:

We have never eaten there, but when making dining reservations it was highly recommended by the CM. All dinners for the week will be there are already full, but we were able to get a lunch reservation. Hopefully it's just as good as dinner.

I love it! Bar none, I think it's the best restaurant there I've been to. The Creme Brulee is outstanding! We tried some Canadian Ice wine, which is very, very good, now my favorite wine. The steaks were perfect. The cheese soup was good too. We will be going back again. Well worth our time.

One of the few restaurants that I feel I MUST go to ever trip. I always try several new restaurants every trip, but Le Cellier is always the first one I try for as soon as the CM says hello, on the day I'm eligible to make my ADRs. I really prefer dinner over lunch though. By the way I go to WDW 3-4 times a year.

(If you eat mushrooms, you must try the filet with mushroom risotto. I only get it every 3-4 months when I'm there, but dream about it the rest of the time.:cloud9:)

We ate there in our '07 trip and it was fantastic!! :thumbsup2

That day we were at Epcot and it started to rain so we made a mad dash for the door, only to be told it would be almost an hour wait.:sad1: Sadly, we decided to muster the strength to move on to try another place to eat/dry out for a bit.
Just as we were walking away, the seating hostess comes running up with a poncho semi-covering herself and yells :cheer2: "Come on, I got a table!":cheer2:

This girl really went an extra mile for us. Within 10 minutes we were seated at an ever-so-uneven table. But we were dry(ing) and the food was magnificent.:grouphug:

Do they have a bar area where a single diner could sit (without ADRs)? I really just want a beer and the soup and bread and was hoping I could do it informally. Any thoughts??

Its good! Yes it's a very good steakhouse. Yes it is very very hard to get ress.

We went in Dec and loved it. Great atmosphere and excellent food. I would definitely recommend it.

Im very upset I couldnt get ADRs for this place. We didnt even think of Disney until about a week ago and then promptly made reservations for March 1st. I called with 37days to go and they had nothin. No lunch or dinner. DH thinks we can just walk up when we get there and wait -- Im not so sure though. Next time its 90days ahead of time!

Many WDW restaurants don't take walk-ups when they're fully booked, they'll just turn you away. And Le Cellier is nearly always fully booked. Sorry.

People do cancel, though, so keep calling, even after you arrive on property. I've had some success calling around 10AM of the day I wanted to dine at a restaurant. Haven't tried it with Le Cellier, but it's worth a try.

It's our families #1 restaurant...we've eaten there for the last three years in a row & have never had anything other than a fabulous meal & experience!! It's a must do!

Nope, nothing like that.

I've eaten at LeCellier almost every trip for the past 3-4 yrs. They've made some less than wonderful changes to the menu but still, I always try to get a seating.
Well, I called at my 90 day window and there was nothing open for me. Walkups are not encouraged..so beware of trying that.
