IF I can get a reservation, is it as good as I've heard it is? Worth the struggle of getting a reservation?

We really enjoyed it during our 2013 trip. We went in the late afternoon so we didn't get dinner but got a selection of appetizers instead. We tried the cheddar cheese soup (awesome!), Caesar salad (really tasty), and poutine (pretty good). The pretzel bread certainly lives up to the type. I also tried the Maple Crème Brulee which was REALLY good. Although we didn't eat the steak last time, the steak delivered next to us looked (and smelled!) really good!

This is one spot that was listed by my sister as a "must-do" for our next trip - I have us booked for dinner in June!

DW is a red-meat fanatic and would not miss it when we there

I am not so beef inclined - but the rest of the menu is quite good too - I'm not much for the atmosphere (feels like you're in a basement sometimes - much prefer CG, AP or Narcosees) but the food is as good as any in WDW

Nope, not even a little (IMHO :))

I would much prefer going to a different signature - Flying Fish, Yachtsman, Jiko and Artist Point are all on my list, Le Cellier would be dead last and I would still eat at a food cart first

again, solely my opinion;). Not a fan of the crammed quarters and lackluster service

If you have never been and it is on your list of wants, go for it! Everyone has a different experience and expectation :artist:

It's not worth a struggle but there really isn't a struggle anymore since it went to 2 dining credits. Especially if you go for lunch.

Were returning from a trip where we ate at seven signature restaurants including Le Cellier. We noticed a distinct difference between signatures in the park versus at the resorts. I certainly don't think it's worth two credits on the dining plan, but probably worth the cash prices they charge. We might return for dessert in the future, but we enjoyed the resort signatures much, much more.

We eat at Le Cellier every year when we go. We were frankly so disappointed in out meal this summer that we took it off our "must eat there" list. :sad2:

For 2 points, Narcroosees is far superior in my opinion

Very over hyped. Meal wasn't BAD, but I can make a better steak at home and had many better meals at Disney then Le Cellier. You also will pay way more then you should for the food. The value is simply not there.

We are steak lovers. We have had good meals at Le Cellier but our go-to steak places are Shula's and Yachtsman Steakhouse. The atmosphere is just so much nicer (more privacy, less rushed) at those two. We will certainly do Le Cellier again but it's not a must-do every visit for us.

Where else did you eat?
