My husband and DS love steak and are dying to eat at Le Cellier. My question is about my 2 1/2 year old. Since he isn't covered by the DDP we will either share with him or pay OOP for kid's meals which is fine but steak and salmon aren't things he will eat well so sharing is out and I don't think it is worth paying almost $8 OOP for a kid's meal for him. Do they allow you to bring outside food into the restaurant for smaller children? He would be much happier with a PB & J or something like that we could pick up at another location on the way over.

Here is a link to the DIS menus for Le Cellier.

I would just find something on the menu he would like. You will still need to get a drink for him (I assume). There is also a hot dog and beef with pasta on the menu. I would not be comfortable bringing in another meal for the child. small crackers or soemthing, but not a meal.

Thanks for your help. I saw the child's menu but I'm still nervous about giving my toddler hot dogs as they are a choking hazard and he loves pasta but he's not a big fan of tomato sauces in general so maybe I can ask them to just put cheese on the pasta and that might work. I just wasn't sure how flexible they were with their dishes and if they would do something like that but it's worth a shot.

I just had a conversation about this w/ a cm.... We had a very similar question about our child being at WDW at that age and eating... they said every restaurant will accomadate however they could for any guest... (children/ food allergies/ and so on). Children ages 3 and under can eat off thier parents plate & If they cant make something for the guest they said they do not have a problem w/ you bringing some kind of childs food for them to enjoy.

I'm sure they would do that. We have found most restaurants at WDW to be accomodating with changes, especially for children. It would also be fine for you to bring in a sandwich or something for your little one.

We have brought in food for our older DD (when she was 2 and 3) when there was nothing on the menu she liked. This trip, we will have to bring in whole meals for my 20 month old due to her allergies (I checked with Disney and this is OK, they just cannot heat the meal for you)- although they are very accomidating on coming up with meals for her.... its just hard due to the extent of her particualr allergies (dairy, wheat, egg, chocolate, beef, nuts and shellfish).

I have no qualms bringing food for a picky child, as I refuse to spend $ on somthing I KNOW she wont eat.... but will gladly spend $ on something I know she will :)

Thank you so much, that really helps a lot. I'm the same way. I will gladly spend the money necessary to get him food that he will eat but I just don't see the point in spending money on food that will just end up being thrown away. He has always been a picky eater and we have issues trying to get him to eat enough as it is so we try to make sure each meal is something he will actually eat.
