Le Cellier Vs. Via Napoli

I just managed to snag a lunch ADR (11:55) for our Epcot day. Originally had an ADR for Via Napoli, since I know these are hard to come by.

Now I'm having second thoughts... There is not a time that I can schedule VN elsewhere in the trip.

So which one would you keep and why? We will be eating at California Grill that evening, but will not be ordering steak.

That's a tough one for us because we love both places. However, we haven't had lunch at LC since dinner went signature. If you do end up sticking with Via Napoli, make sure you try aqua frescas. They were delicious and just what we needed on a hot day.

I personally am not a fan of le cellier. I thought their steak (strip steak) was tasteless and fatty. I wasnt impressed. Ditto for the 'famous' and 'oh so heavenly' soup. Wasnt a big fan at all. This place is far too over rated. If you want good steak, your better off going somewhere in your home town. I'd go for via napoli!!! Its more unique than le cellier. And a lot of their ingredients to make the pizza come directly from italy!!

I'm of fan of le cellier lunch. We also had a wonderful lunch at VN. Our family would try and schedule both again in the future.

With having the ADR at the GG that evening, I would stay with VN for lunch. At VN, our family shared a salad and pizza - scrumptious and perfect for our touring day. Lunch at LeCellier, I think would be too filling for our family with GG later in the day.

It really depends on your personal preferences.
Personally, I prefer Via Napoli. I feel like I can get steak of the quality of Les Cellier just about anywhere, or can cook a better steak myself. But it's a bit harder to find true wood burned Neopolitan pizza offered at Via Napoli.

I think the popularity of Les Cellier has more to do with Americans loving steak in general, than it being such a great restaurant.

I personally found my meal there to be a notch above Outback, but well below any true steakhouse.

Even though I am a pasta girl. Steak beats it out in this case.
