I do enjoy Le Cellier and the Ribeye with Rissoto is outstanding but...

I think Shula's is overall a better restaurant! The Service is outstanding! Atmosphere is upscale, the dark woods are beautiful! Absolutely feels like a classic steakhouse... I have had the Filet, Ribeye, and the Kansas City Strip and all are very good, wet aged and overall just fantastic!!! The Crab Mac and Cheese is fantastic as well as the Soufflé :)

I do enjoy Le Cellier please do not get me wrong I think it gets a bad rap on the boards and I would choose it over Yachtsman any day but like I said Shula's is a much better restaurant!!!

Go to Shula's :thumbsup2

Last time we ate in Yachtsman is was not very good. Service was terrible .
But that was several years ago.

Shula's is going to be the top for steaks. It's a little less kid-friendly, but if you're up for a $6 baked potato, you'll like it.

Although I love the mushroom filet at LC, I LOVE and ADORE Shula's. The service has been spectacular both times we went and the filet amazing. I'm going back to Shula's a 3rd time in a couple months. :thumbsup2

Shulas by a wide margin. We eat there every trip.

As Micca suggests it isn't especially kid friendly and it is $$.

BUt for us well worth the money.

Both have good food, but we prefer Le Cellier for their combination fantastic steaks plus the atmosphere and unique Disney-feel we can't find otherwise.
Wherever you go, sure hope you have a great time!

:goodvibes

Shula's by far. The food is better with a bigger selection. The tables aren't piled on top of each other. But the biggest difference is the service. We ate at Shula's last Friday night and John and Mario waited on us. They have been working together as a waiting team for 9 years. I can't stress enough how much of a difference that makes over a server that is only at Disney for one year max.

As far as the price goes. You can get more discounts at Shula's. Both take Tables in Wonderland. Shula's also is part of the free Swan Dolphin dining passport. Spend $500 at Shula's, Kimonos, bluezoo, and Il Mulino and get a $75 gift certificate. That means you are earning $0.15 on every dollar. You can save the points up over a few trips. Plus you can earn 2 Starwoods SPG points for every dollar worth about $0.02.

So I got 20% off for TIW, 15% for the dining passport, 5% for using my Discover card, and 4% in Starwoods SPG points. Yes I know the math is sloppy but you get the point :)

1) Shula's, by more (greatly more) than the proverbial mile.
2) Shula's does not use sodium to make the steaks taste better for medium-to-average meat cuts.

NOTE: Le Cellier injects LOADS of sodium into the steaks and within the
sauces. Sodium (a restaurant secret) hits specific taste buds on the tongue,
which perks up the brain to simulate better meat cuts than really are presented.

I vote Shulas.

I've have been there 3 times in the past 2 years. Always a great meal with outstanding service. It is expensive but as they say you get what you pay for.

I also have never had any problems getting a reservation even when calling about a reservation that same night. Can't say the same about Le Cellier.

This is depressing to hear but also fits in with my long-standing position that Le Cellier is one of the most overrated restaurants at WDW. I just don't get why people are such advocates for the place. :confused3

Le Cellier is on my 'three strikes and you're out' list.

Shula's is one of my favorite restaurants at WDW.
