Le Cellier V. Narcoossee's

If you had to choose between these two, which would you go for, and why?

Definately Narcossee's - better menu and nicer surroundings IMHO.

I can't be fully objective since we won't be trying Signature Le Cellier until August- but based on previous experiences...Narcoosee's. I think food quality, service, and atmosphere trump Le Cellier.

We always like LC before it became a signature, hope we still do.

Narcoossee's was ok for appies and desserts but neither of us enjoyed our entrees

I guess I will go with LC

we like both but your decision needs to be made based on your other plans for the day. LeCellier is good if you are going to be in Epcot for the day. Narcoossees is better but a LONG walk from the Grand Floridian main building so if you have time constraints or small children then LeCellier would be the better choice. However when we went to Narcoossees a nice fellow gave us a ride in a golf cart from the main building to Narcoossees front door , we then hiked back to our car. Parking is not good if you choose to dive over there then go to eat, its easier to catch a monorail and then only hike from the main building and not the double hike from a block away in their guest parking and then from the main building out to the restaurant. Look at a map under the subtitle at the top of the page that says resorts!!!!....that being said...Narcoossee's gets our vote and our business next trip!

If you are on the dining plan LeCellier (love the mushroom filet) was great when it was just one credit but now at 2 credits I think Narcoosee's is better bang for your buck. It also depends if you like steak or seafood. I had the Surf and Turf in Aug and the fillet cut like butter the lobster was good too my dd's loved their whole main lobster. Narcoosee's is a pricy meal if you are paying oop--if we weren't on the dining plan it would have close to $400 (before tip) for 4 of us no appys and only one adult beverage, LeCellier may be more reasonable oop though I their prices have probably gone up too since it's now 2 credits (at dinner, lunch is only 1 credit).

It would depend on lunch or dinner. For lunch I would pick Le Cellier. Dinner in no contest, Narcossees to enjoy dinner and watch the fireworks and water parade. I like the menu items at both. They are very different however. Narcossees wins the best dessert imho, the almond crusted cheesecake with cherries. It is a must for every trip for us.

Hard to say since I haven't dined at Le Cellier as a signature but Narcoosees has been very disappointing the last few times we have dined there.

I think Narcoosees is definitely better than LC- the atmosphere, the menu, the service. LC seems much more limited to me.

Narcoossee's for us! Just back from a trip, loved the Mahi fish that was offered, to die for. Loved the options for kids and the app and desserts were yummo! Enjoyed the bar before dinner, a must do for us from now on.

Le Cellier is just so heavy to eat!

Narcoossee's has a nicer atmosphere, view, and desserts, but as of now I prefer the appetizers/entrees at Le Cellier. And I'm not even referring to the cheese soup or filet, I'm talking about the rest of LC's menu.

We've had dinner at both restaurants and would definitely choose Narcoosees. We were at LC last month and while it was primarily a good meal (except for the Caesar Salad) we did not consider it to be a signature experience.

Thanks guys. DH and I are "discussing" this, and I want to do Narcoossee's but he wants to de Le Cellier. His only reason for wanting to do LC is because its in a park, and he doesn't want to waist time going go a hotel to eat.... Personally, I don't want to waist 2 credits on Le Cellier, and would much rather have the lobster at Narcoossee's. I have 6 months to get him to see it my way!!!! lol

If you're on the DDP, the lobster at Narcoossee's is one of the best values at a signature restaurant. OOP, Le Cellier is slightly cheaper, but to maximize your credit value, Narcoossee's wins.

Well I did it - I convinced DH to go to Narcoosees over LC. I'm so excited now - I feel like everything is perfect!!!!

You don't have to waste 2 credits. Just book it for lunch and it only counts for 1 credit. Much better deal in that regard.

I think Le Cel and Narcoo are comparable restaurants. The atmosphere at Narcoo is much nicer. I would say the food quality is high at both places. The meat selections are a lot better at Le Cel so if you prefer a meat meal, go with Le Cel. If you feel like Lobster, I would go with Narcoo.
