Hello,

I have reservations to go to Le Cellier for dinner on Tuesday AND Thursday.
Instead of going to Le Cellier a second time (in our 7 day trip to WDW), should I go to Chefs de France on Thursday?

I've heard so many good things about Le Cellier and it was so hard to get the reservation. I've read mixed review about Chefs de France.

Travelling with 2 young kids under 8 and it will be our first trip.

Thanks. All suggestions/opinions welcome!

How about LeCellier one day and then something besides Chef de France the second day? We really like both Le Cellier and Coral Reef.

Congrats on landing those Le Cellier reservations! When I tried for a dinner there for my last trip, the only times I could get would insure that we wouldn't be able to see Illuminations, so I opted for lunch there instead. I'd still like to go back some time for dinner. That said, I would choose a second restaurant over eating at Le Cellier twice just for variety's sake. I thought that Les Chefs de France was a great place to have lunch, but for dinner at EPCOT, I would choose Bistro de Paris or Coral Reef instead.

Get Coral Reef! Good food and AWESOME atmosphere! Your kiddos will be happily enertained by the fish/sealife in the beautiful, huge aquarium, and that means the grownups can enjoy the time spent there as well. YOu may even see divers in with the fish! :yay::yay:

i would do Le Cellier twice, that fillet is worth it! I dream about that piece of meat, it was so delicious and I don't eat steak!

its making my mouth water now!

Le Cellier was not that great for us, so we will be doing Tutto Italia one night and Chefs de France another night.

I would suggest mixing it up and doing Le Cellier one night and another restaurant the second night. It is always fun trying a new restaurant. :thumbsup2

Love LeCellier, Went to Chefs last August was not impressed, but I have always been impressed before that. Or steak never came out the way we wanted it, they kept sending it back. Everyone was finished eating & they still didnt get it right, finally my aunt just didnt eat. We complained & we got a pat on the back & a free coffee, the waitress felt terrible & it was totally not her fault. Tuto Italia was very good, but like I said this was the first time I had a problem so I would still reccomend it. Also we did Bistro upstairs very quiet & quaint, but the menu is a bit hard if you have picky eaters. Good luck with what ever you decide.

I wouldn't do Le Cellier at all, it was disgusting and so salty i felt my systolic BP rise at least 30 points from that one meal. That being said, Chefs was great! I would book Chefs, and try another restaurant.. maybe Coral Reef? (never been before)

I wouldn't bother with Le Cellier twice. It's nice to go once, but it's so hyped up - it isn't that great, and there are so many other nice places to try.

We have done LeCellar and loved it but I do not think I would do it twice in one trip as there are so many other places to choose from. We are doing lunch on our trip next week at Chefs de France. We have never eaten there and Remy appears at lunch time. We are two adults but this is something your kids might enjoy.

We are huge fans of Le Cellier. We're staying longer on our next trip so we contemplated the very same thing. Should we go to Le Cellier twice since we love it so much? However, it was one of our daughters least favorite restaurants. It wasn't so much the food and we had gone to some character meals and some not, but this particular one didn't appeal to them. It just seemed a lot more "formal" and dark inside--not so kid friendly. My husband and I loved it though. In the end, we thought rather than going to Le Cellier twice, there are so many wonderful restaurants that why not try a different one. At first we had the same dilema as you--Le Chefs or Le Cellier twice. In the end we opted to try Le Chefs. After reading here on the Dis and talking with a friend, we decided to switch from Le Chefs to Biergarten. It's the restaurant at Germany. It seems very kid friendly w/ a band playing polka music and the kids have an area to dance. My husband will love the food. My girls are picky, but the menu has macaroni and cheese, pretzals, and yummy desserts, so I'm sure they'll have plenty to fill their tummies even if they don't love all the rest of the food. I think this choice is the best for us. We're still going to Le Cellier, but we also get to try a new restaurant and one that seems fun for the kids as well. In the end, I think the entire family will get more out of going to Biergarten and Le Cellier just once than Le Cellier twice.
We also have Coral Reef as one of our dining spots. I've heard it's good as well. I'm anxious to try it, and I'm sure the kids will love the sea life around us.
Good luck with your decision!
