Le Cellier surf and turf

Does L e Cellier always have surf and turf?I know its not on the menu but do they offer it daily and can you have it at lunch or dinner? I know it is not on the CP package but can you get it with dining plan and how would you compare it to Narcoose's and Yachtmen Steakhouse?Sorry for all the questions but I am trying to decide if its worth adding a 2nd meal there to have the surf and turf.

I have had a small filet and a Nova Scotia lobster tail the last 3 times I have been. Yum! It was the special each time.

We were on a dining plan during our visit 4 years ago and we had Surf & Turf three of the nights (we're so bad)!

One of the nights was at Le Cellier. Believe it or not, the lobster was better than the filet. The filet wasn't bad, I was just surprised that the lobster was better.

When we had Surf & Turf at the Brown Derby, the opposite was true. I guess it just depends on who the Chef is!

I take it to mean you found the filet at Brown Derby to be better than Le Cellier? If so, I totally agree. I mean, a cut of meat will vary considerably just from plate to plate, not to mention restaurant to restaurant, but I've consistently had better steak at Brown Derby than at Le Cellier.

I go to both, and enjoy both (my two TS faves) but definately think the filet at Brown Derby is a cut above. Ironic, since Le Cellier is a steakhouse. I'll be comparing the NY strip on my next trip - doubt I'll try the surf'n'turf - I get real lobster that is brought out of the water about two miles away from my house, so I'm never satisified with the freshness outside of New England.

Dh and I both ordered the surf and turf at Le Cellier a couple of weeks ago. I found the lobster to be excellent but did not enjoy the steak at all. I can't remember what the cut of beef was called -- it was not a name I was familiar with. It looked like a NY Strip to me. It was very blahhh...no flavor and not very tender. For $36, I expected a small filet or something.

I can't tell ya if it's offered every day, sorry. I can tell ya it was great though. Other posters comments about steak being different from plate to plate not withstanding ours was out of this world...

I'm so glad we got this ADR with only a weeks notice.
