Well, we have the much-coveted Le Cellier reservation. But, now we're wondering if there isn't something that the kids would enjoy much more (DS - 6, DS - 4, DD - 17 months). We'll also be with my parents and sisters - but they're up for a switch. We're already down for Rose & Crown. My boys are picky eaters anywhere, but maybe they'd be more entertained at Mexico or Japan? Might be too late to change anyway (we'll be there the week after Easter)....

If the kids are picky eaters, will they like the menu at Japan and Mexico? Don't second guess, just stick with what you have!

I agree with the pp. If your kids are picky eaters anyway, go and enjoy a great meal for the adults. The kids meals are also good there and you'll be surprised at the number of children there. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her meal and especially the ice cream sundae for dessert.:)

Le Cellier is not one of my favorites. (Dh loves it so we go;)) But personally, I'd switch to Teppan Edo. Even if your children don't like the food, they'll enjoy the show.

I think the kids will enjoy Tappen Edo more. The show is alot of fun for everyone. The food is very good.

I too got Le Cellier to my surprise and I am taking my daugher and granddaughter. If your kids are picky try Prime Time or Crystal Palace. My grandkids looooove Hoop Dee Doo. After being at the World for a week eating around the World my grandson announced after having food plopped down in front of him I WANT TO EAT HERE EVERYTIME. He loved the way they cling down the buckets(food) and then leave you alone to eat as much as you want.

I don't see any benefit for your children to switch to Mexico or Japan. If you think they will be too bored at Le Cellier, you can try the Princess Storybook meal at Akershus in Norway.

I havent been to LeCellier but based on a few things ive read or saw pics of I would definitely switch to something else. My kids love the hibachi type places where the chefs cook in front of you (Teppan Edo) and also heard that Biergarten has an enjoyable show for the kids and a buffet which i am sure they would find something.

My kids were 6 and 4 and they loved LeCellier. We are going back on our next trip. I would stick with what you have and not second guess yourself. Have a magical trip!

We ate at Le Cellier with our 3 kids (ages 9, 8 and 6 at the time). They loved it! The kids menu was varied and they were very happy with it. I agree with what others are saying, keep your reservation and enjoy a great meal!:thumbsup2 This is hands down one of our favorite places to eat. Delish!

I'm having second thoughts too, so you're not alone...We have a dinner ADR and want to head to DHS for pm EMH starting at 7...my second thoughts come from the amount of time we'll spend eating there. Our kids actually want to eat there...they love the desserts!

I would keep Le Cellier, but if you want to switch I would switch to Coral Reef (atmosphere is great with aquarium view) or Teppan Edo.

we have Le celleir this time to try
but for Teppan Edo it wasn't bad for kids
dd got the grilled chicken
she asked for no onions so he had some of the veggies to the side just for her before he mixed the onions in
and the plain rice they also brough her some tempura (sp?) chicken to try too, she loved it, she said it was better then chicken nuggets (that is saying alot:rotfl:)

Sorry to be a dissenting voter...but what's wrong with doing one thing that maybe isn't about the kids? They are at WDW, you are catering to them for a week. Let the adults enjoy a meal at Le Cellier...it's WAAAAYYYY better food than Coral Reef or Mexico. - and Mexico isn't any more "entertaining" to kids. Yes, the atmosphere is cooler, but this gets the kids attention for all of 5 minutes. And Teppan Edo would entertain them more - but you can do Teppanaki. The food at Le Cellier is great for kids - especially picky eaters...very standard fare. I say stick with it!

BTW, We had never done Le Cellier, and were worried it was over-rated. We snagged an ADR and decided to try it. We loved it...not just the steaks, but EVERYTHING that we tried.
