Has anyone heard what the plans are for March when LeCellier becomes a 2TS restaurant? Will they keep their current menu, or introduce a new one?
When in March? We're there from 3/3 -3/10 with Le Cellier ressies on the 6th and 9th.
Thanks,
Bill From PA
It begins 3-1-11. Not worth 2 IMHO.![]()
Thanks! I'm debating what to do. I need to make my ADR's in January, but I'm not sure I want to reserve Le Cellier for dinner without knowing what the menu looks like. We plan to reserve 4 signature restaurants for dinners (just 2 of us), but I'm hesitant to make an ADR, then decide it's not worth the 2TS and be shut out of other options.![]()
Just as a side note, I had been worried about being shut out of 2 TS options as well on my last trip, we didn't decide until last minute to add the Signature Meals to our trip.
Even up to 3 weeks prior, we found that we could easily make ADRs at the 2 TS restaurants (including Flying Fish, Cali Grille, Jiko). So, I think that you'd be safe to make the ADRs at your "most wanted" restaurants, and also one night at Le Cellier. If the menu doesn't interest you, I'd bet money that there would still be a Signature left for you to reserve!![]()
I'm still trying to decide between LeCellier and HBD at the parks, or CG, Jiko, YS, and Citrico's at the resorts. The availability of ADRs may help me make my decision. Would I be right in assuming you also don't have to eat as early at the resorts to avoid a long wait as you do in the parks?
Jiko and CG were amazing dining experiences, IMHO.
But I think you're right. As far as early vs. late ressies, I found that it didn't really matter when dining at the resorts - for select restaurants. For the most popular ('Ohana, Boma, Whispering Canyon, etc), eating early is the way to go.
With the Signatures, I did find that it was just as easy to get into the restaurant at 8:30pm as it was getting in at 5:30pm.
Good luck!!![]()
