Le Cellier question re: butter

OK, this is gonna sound really stupid but...how much of Le Cellier's menu is cooked in butter? I've looked at the menu and it all looks so delicious (I'm so hungry now!) but most of my family can't eat butter. There are items on the menu that they should be able to eat if veggies and meat/fish aren't sauteed or even touch butter.

I'm going to start doing my ADRs soon and I know we'd love to try it out...

Any help?? (OH, I hope I get the right answers...I really want to try it out!!)

I'm not sure how much butter is used, but I'm sure that if you request no butter then this can be done. All items are cooked to order so the steak, fish and side dishes can be made to your liking.

Make sure to get in touch with Brenda Bennet over at the MK, in regards to your allergies-and contact the chef at Le Cellier in advance-they're wonderful! They even made me the cheese soup without the beer and flour-my own personal soup! Disney dining (407-WDW-DINE) will give you the number, and you can call in advance. They'll take good care of you!

You can special order. A chef will come out to make sure it gets done exactly as you need it. The table next to mine had some very strict dietary needs and they were all well accommodated. The chef was very nice and professional and made sure everything was exactly the way they needed it to be. (I wasn't trying to be nosy, but it's hard when the table is a foot away!)

Great....looks like we might try it out!

Although...I'm now getting resistance....we go all the way down there to eat at the Canadian restaurant???? <sigh> Will have to show them photos of the food in the photo thread.
