Le Cellier - mushroom fillet at lunch

Maybe this is old news but we just ate at Le Cellier last week and we got to have the Mushroom Fillet for lunch!!!! I was all prepared to do the Prime Rib sandwich and we were pleasantly surprised that we got to do the fillet. It is our favorite. This was a nice update to the menu.

I am happy about it too..maybe they realized it was one of the top sellers at dinner and maybe that is why they are always sold out for dinner and not lunch so hey why not put the mushroom filet on for lunch too, that way no one will be upset when they call at 6 months out and cannot get a stinking table.

Yes, the one with the risotto. We had it once for dinner, but can never get dinner reservations so we've always been doing lunch for the last three years. So, it's nice to have that option for lunch now. It was yummy!

I am so excited that they are offering it for lunch! We're having lunch there our first day, then having dinner later on in the week.

This was probably my favorite meal!! I loved the filet w/risotto!! And yes, I had it at lunch.

Is it substantially smaller than the dinner filet? I only ask because the price difference between lunch and dinner is significant. Thanks.
