One day at the world, EPCOT on Weds 1/9...diners are me and my sister, a first timer at Disney.

We had 1250 ADR and checked in about 5 minutes early. We were seated close to 100. Walk ins were being told 30 minutes--not that bad really.

We had a very nice server, Amber, who explained everything to us, in a bit of a rushed way, but one can only imagine how many times a day they say the same things. It was fine with us.

We both ordered the filet. I asked her as well as our seater person if I could get mushroom risotto for lunch. Denied, denied, denied. I remember the risotto from my one time dinner here, and was disappointed with it being off the lunch menu. On the other hand, I expected it from reading the reviews here, and seeing the menu on Allea... that didnt list the mushroom risotto. They DID however, allow me to substitute the maple risotto from the salmon, with the potato from my filet. It wasnt a perfect match , but it was good!

We both ordered medium, which she said would be pink in the middle. Sisters was, mine definitely over cooked. It was thin for a filet, so I can see why it was overcooked. I was very surprised tho, since my experience there and reviews here always rave about Le C steaks. Anyway, Amber took it back and returned shortly with--an undercooked piece of meat! Back she went, cheerfully (to us anyway :) ) and came back with it basically correct. I wasnt sending it back again. By then sis was mostly done, which was fine, and down mine went.

Overall it was a good meal. Pretty pricey for lunch, tho we did have the filets,so.... you can do LeC for alot cheaper. I'd return.

Le C had walk ins w/in a reasonable time???? I wonder if we would have luck trying that for dinner. I have been trying to get a dinner ADR for Le Cellier on Valentine's Day w/no luck. I may as well check the day we're there to see if we can walk in. Maybe b/c it was lunch that walk ins were accepted?

Hi, Lunch ADR's are definitely easier to get than dinner. We prefer to eat lunch at Le Cellier and I never have had a problem getting a ressies. We usually visit during busier times also.(Feb,April,July) Joan

Thanks for the review. I'm excited for our Le Cellier dinner, less than two weeks away! :woohoo:

Thanks for the review. We're going to try lunch at Le Cellier for the first time.
