All Ears is reporting that Le Cellier will be charging TWO dining credits to eat dinner starting March 2011 when using the Dining Plan. Lunch will remain one credit. Say it isn't true! Hubby and I always wondered if this would happen.

Once Le Cellier is two TS credits, it will be wide open for dinner reservations any night of the week. Why would anyone eat there rather than Yachtsman Steakhouse, CG or Jiko?

A) It's in a park.
B) We use TiW, not DDP so it costs us the same regardless of how many credits they charge.
C) It has been our favorite restaurant for over 10 years -- long before it became popular. I can't imagine that will change anytime soon.
There is some speculation that the dinner menu will change to make it more "signature" worthy (with prices changing accordingly), but we won't know that for awhile.
I think it would be worth it. We enjoyed it as much as Flying Fish. The steak was as good and while not as pretty the desserts were better at Le Cellier. I prefer doing lunch here but I think 2 credits for dinner would not restrict us from doing it.
