Le Cellier Going Signature

I have a reliable source that has confirmed the rumor that Le Cellier is going Signature, either in the fall or starting in January.

We were there yesterday & it looks like they've done their seasonal menu change. Changed the steak salad & added/removed some items. Mushroom filet and gnochi are still offered.

They would have to remove half the tables in there! Everytime we eat there I feel like I'm sitting with the party next to us. One of my favorite things about signature dining is the space between the tables!

I just heard the same rumor. Le Cellier is good, but not 2 credit good IMHO. I can see why Disney is making the move, though. It's a wildly popular restaurant and they will still fill tables whether it's a 2 credit place or not.

If this happens, any idea how it will work as far as timing? We have ressies in late Oct and we are already going to two signature dining ressies and don't have room for the third. We would need to find another location to book in Epcot

I wish they would honor those of us who already have ressies, and have a start date for ressies moving forward to be considered signature.

I know, I had the same question after reading about this rumor over at the Rumor board. Since we are going in September (that is when the rumor boards said it was most likely going to happen), what will happen to our ADR? My DH said it will more than likely change from a 1 to 2 credit, just because we have an ADR doesn't mean that our credit amount is set in stone. So I said, oh well, I guess if they do do this, we will have to get rid of it to accommodate our other ADRs....which then I got a really bad look from my DH and then was told....No, we are keeping Le Cellier no matter what, we will drop one of our 1 credit ADRs instead . The man really loves his filet with mushroom risotto and cheddar cheese soup

This information was posted over here a few days ago as well. Since we have no official announcement from Disney and is officially just a rumor at this time, it was moved to the Disney News and Rumors board.
