I have a lunch reservation for LeCellier. I was wondering, for those of you who have eaten lunch there, if you enjoyed your meal? Can you substitute rissotto for mashed potatoes at lunch? :confused3and does anyone know what the current chicken dish being served for lunch is? Thanks in advance:flower3:

I also have a reservation at Yak & Yeti. What is your opinion on this meal?

For us lunch is no different than dinner. We always get the filet with a sub of mashed potatoes instead of the risotto. :thumbsup2

I had the prime rib sandwich last year and it was not good, very dry.

We just had lunch there during our April trip and both DH and I substituted for the mashed potatoes! :worship: yummy :lovestruc

We had a really great lunch there!

Enjoy :)

Edited to add - we also had lunch at Yak & Yeti and we also enjoyed it. We had the crispy green beans, honey chicken and the fried wontons for dessert.

Check with your hotel concierge. There is a character breakfast bus that runs early. You should be able to get a bus ride direct to Beach Club in the morning.

We are also doing Le Cellier for lunch..our first time there. I am thinking of going with the maple chicken sandwhich. Looks really good in the pics I have seen.

Heather...if I can get everyone in my party to go, your meal at Yak & Yeti is what I will be ordering! Is it wrong to pick my ADRs based on what's served for dessert? LOL :wizard:

We had lunch at Le Cellier and loved it. The portions were large and filling. The food was fresh and the service fantastic.

We actually prefer lunch. We have found the wait pass our adrs to be much longer at dinner, and slower service. The 3 times we had dinner at Le Cellier it was too long period of time for an in-park restaurant. The food is just as delicious at lunch and you can definitely sub risotto for mash.

Do you know if these run from AKV also? Have morning reservations at Chef Mickey's on Sept 14th, would love to have a character breakfast bus instead of having to go to MK and either walk or take monorail over.

I had lunch at LeCellier last year and loved it! It is my favorite dining experience at WDW thus far. I highly recommend the filet.

I also ate at Yak and Yeti on that trip. I did not really care for that meal. I will not be returning there.

I'll be trying LeCellier for the first time in Oct - going for lunch as well!

I like to do a TS lunch in Epcot because we take a break after lunch and then come back in the evening and wander the countries without having to worry about an ADR filling the evening. We did a Le Cellier lunch last trip and it was great, loved the filet, loved the bread and the desserts were to die for. This trip we are doing the same except Coral Reef, which I don't like as much, but the kids LOVE. I think you'll like the lunch at Le Cel very much.

Does anyone know if you can get the steak with the coffee rub on it for lunch? I can't remember what its called, but we had it for dinner last December. It was wonderful.:goodvibes

I actually prefer lunch for reasons that PPs have stated, not as long of a wait and similar menu.

I like getting the chef's choice menu with the beer cheddar soup, prime rib sandwich (I really enjoy it, always tender for me), and the chocolate moose.

We tried LC for lunch this past Dec and loved it.

We also have LC booked for next Wed too, looking forward to it! :thumbsup2
