Le Cellier for Lunch

Just made lunch reservations at Le Cellier for our upcoming trip in January

What would you suggest for lunch? We've never been there and are so excited to get in on such short notice

We love the cheddar cheese soup and the pretzel bread for a starter. I also really like the mushroom filet, and my husband will too as soon as he eats it for the first time - one week from today!!!

We had lunch there in October, and I got the "Le Cellier Experience" which included the cheddar cheese soup with the breadsticks, a shaved prime rib sandwich, and the chocolate "moose" for dessert. I was stuffed just after the soup and bread sticks! Enjoy!

I did the lunch "Experience" too. I got the cheese soup, steak salad w/ crumbled French goat cheese, and maple creme brulee. Everything was awesome! Plus, our wonderful server brought out truffle butter for me to dip my steak into. YUM! DH had the lunch portion of the mushroom filet & he really enjoyed that also.

I second the mushroom filet. But, I got no mushrooms, sauce on the side and fries inside of potatoes. Fantastic!
I seriously think this is one of the very few places anywhere that I would skip dessert and get an appetizer instead, namely that cheddar soup.

Definitely try the cheddar cheese soup. It is SOOOOO good, but very filling. I would suggest splitting it up among two people if you plan on ordering large entrees. As an entree, I highly recommend the mushroom filet. It is tender and juicy, but also very lean.

my mom and I ate here during our trip in August. We both really enjoyed it. I ordered the mushroom filet and she ordered the NY strip steak. We both preferred her steak over mine it was very tender and very flavorful.

Another vote for the mushroom filet. It is a smaller portion for lunch than dinner. And you gotta have the maple syrup creme brulee.
