I think some of us would prefer to order of the lunch menu. It really seems that they have pared down the dinner menu a lot. Will they let us order burgers or salads for dinner?

Thanks,
Lori

I would suggest a late lunch time and then eat a lighter supper. If you were seated by 3:30 or 4:00 you should be able to order lunch. I have never tried to eat lunch at Le Cellier but that would seem the most logical to me.

Dinner is at 4p...You might be able to order burgers for dinner, I have had heard someone denied though.

Thanks for the comments. Our reservation is for 5 so I guess we will just have to see what they will allow. We are on the dining plan so the cost is not the problem. I just hope we can all find something we will be happy with.

I was coming on here to ask this exact question. We have a dinner ressie - doubt we'd be able to change to a lunchtime one. I checked the menus on all ears and I think I'd rather have one of the sandwiches they offer at lunchtime instead. I'm a somewhat picky eater... DH would be fine with anything and certainly no problem with DD. I was wondering if anyone had been able to do this. Thanks for asking it!

My question is - Why would you eat at LeCellier if you wanted burgers? I love LeCellier and I love burgers but if I wanted a burger, I would go to a counter service.

Well for one thing a counter service burger is not going to be the same as a burger from Le Cellier by an means. I personally will be just fine with a steak and have had one there several times. My grown daughter is going with us this time and I think she will prefer one ot the salads. Her fiance is going and he orders a burger almost every time we go out so I am not sure what else he eats.

Julie, your welcome. Hopefully you will find out for sure for me in just a few days! Have a great trip.

I was thinking the same thing. And if I wanted a burger, I would go to Beaches and Cream. :)

I have a 2:20 PM lunch reservation for 21 Aug I would like to trade for a dinner reservation!!

Le Cellier is the one restaurant I've seen mentioned on these boards over the years that served only their lunch menu at lunch and only their dinner menu at dinner. Something about a small kitchen and what they have preped for that meal

No input since we're trying Le Cellier for the first time on our August trip, but I wanted to say hi to Lori! Haven't seen you around and I guess it looks like we're going to miss you on this trip too! :sad1:

I would check for a late lunch if that was the menu I preferred at that particular restaurant. Otherwise, have you checked other menus to see if there is maybe another restaurant that would better suit your tastes for dinner?

Well of course we will be eating at Beaches and Cream. There are actually enough of us that we can order the kitchen sink too!

I seem to remember that now that you mention it. Oh well, they will have to deal with a steak.

Hi Marci. Are you going back? How did you talk the guys into that?

My part of the family wants to eat at Le Cellier. I was only asking to see if it was possible because we have 3 extra people with us this trip that I was not sure about. I am sure they can eat a steak if they "have" to.

you probably already know this but...you can always show him the menu and ask him if there is anything he might like. you never know something might catch his attention. just though i would put that out there

I hate to tell you but he may not like the burger at Le Cellier. My grandaughter and I both ordered one a few years ago and were surprised to find it served on an English Muffin, instead of a hamburger bun. My GD refused to eat it and I didn't partcularly care for it myself.

Thanks for all the comments. We will just go ahead and eat there and if they need to get something from a CS restaurant they can.

Marcie have a great trip.
