Le Cellier--filet or prime rib?

OK, I got my ADR's for Le Cellier lunch in September. I just found out about the deal with the "meal package" (app, entree, dessert). I've always gotten filet at Le Cellier, but if we can get this package at lunch, I may be willing to try the herb-crusted prime rib, so I can get the cheese soup without having to pay OOP for it.

I have never had the filet at Le Cellier but their prime rib is soooooooo delicious and melts in your mouth. Very nice flavor

Is it lean? Can I ask for it to be medium/well done...I hate it bloody

I am eating lunch at Le Cellier next Thursday and if they are still doing the special I might try the prime rib. I do like prime rib but the mushroom filet is to die for! But I always wanted to try the prime rib. And we are eating at Le Cellier again in December so I'll have another chance then at the filet. Assuming they don't change the menu again!

Yes, that's exactly what I was talking about! As much as I love the filet, this package is a really good deal and might be worth me branching out and trying something new

Don't know about the package, but I probably will never go there without getting the mushroom fillet. It is my absolute favorite meal.

we had the prime rib last week and it was to die for! Very good. I had mine well done and it was perfect. I hate bloody meat too.

My prime rib moo's at me.......seriously I like mine rare and my hubby does medium rare......they are so good no matter how you get it......we have not been disappointed.....the cheddar cheese soup with the bread sticks and this ...we are happy campers...
