Le Cellier experience

We had are anniversary dinner at Le Cellier Saturday and was outstanding as always!!

Service was on point and the food was perfect, and are server/cast member Theresa was outstanding and went way above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and I made sure the manager knew this as well.
 
Glad to hear this! Disney has such great customer service and hospitality, but it's always nice to hear things are going swimmingly. Also good for you for giving a good review to the manager! It's so easy for people to complain when they are angry, but many of us forget to give credit when things go great. I think that matters too and I'm sure your server appreciates the kudos too.
 
So glad that you had such a great meal. With all of the mixed reviews about Le Cellier we were hesitant to try it, and it wound up being a fabulous meal. Service was excellent, apps and soup great, and the filet was melt in your mouth delicious.

Every time we have been service has been on point and the food has been great. What made this trip even better was are server did a little something to make are anniversary special, but her service was impeccable anyways.
 

So glad to hear your experience at Le Cellier was a great one. Especially on your anniversary. Ours recently, also our anniversary, was not so lucky. The food however was as always, wonderful. We tend to not look at the bad nearly as much as we enjoy the good. We will always rank Le Cellier high on our favourites on Disney property for meals.

What happened that was bad if you don't mind telling the story.
 
Love it too. Chose Yachtsman this last trip. Also excellent. It'll have to be Le Cellier next time to be fair....

1. ADR was not received by Le Cellier apparently, even when I showed them on our mobile application & email for confirmation.
2. Sat near a column at what appeared to be a collapsible table with a table clothe thrown across it.
3. Waitress came twice. Once for our order and once to deliver the check.
4. Drinks we ordered pre-meal were delivered at about the same time as the check.
5. When we spoke to a "manager", we were told since our ADR's were not received, they was no way top service could be provided.

With all that, we still enjoyed our meal and our drinks were taken off the bill along with a free dessert since it was our anniversary. I held not one person responsible as I did everyone we encountered. It was like since our ADR was not received, we did not exist. However, as I said, we tend to look at the good way more than the bad and will return for many meals in the future.

Le Cellier! I love that steakhouse. My husband and I had a date night there in September and it was perfection. I order my fillet medium rare and it came to the table cold and rare, while my husband's medium steak was warm, juicy and tender. I was jealous... it was obvious that mine was cooked first or at the same time. As a former server, I hate sending food back, but the cost of the meal persuaded me to do it anyway. They were so kind and humble about the situation and my new steak arrived quickly. It was hands down one of the best steaks I've ever had. (There is only one steak that tops it but its not in the US, so I'll leave that there).

It's all good. Far worse things that could happen other than our reservations not being received. Like I said, we take everything in stride and make the best of every situation. In the grand scheme of things, this is nothing to be angry over.We still had an excellent meal for our anniversary. After all, that was the overall goal for the evening.
 
I'm so glad to hear a great review. My husband and I are eating there for the first time in December on our anniversary as well. Hope our meal is as great as yours!!
 
Service was VERY slow when we were there in June, though that was probably just an issue on that particular evening. The food is great, but I don't think it's quite up to the standards of some of the other 2-DDP-credit meals. I do love the beer selections.

Were it a 1-credit, I'd be raving about it. It used to be my favorite restaurant in WDW. Now, I don't really care if I miss it.
