For our eighth trip in a row, the best meal came from Le Cellier. Cheddar cheese soup being sopped up with pretzel bread, a perfect NY strip with almost zero fat on it, and maple creme brûlée to finish it off.

Yes, the margarita pizza at Via Napoli was great, and Citricos was super as well, but Le Cellier is still #1 in our book.

That's great to hear! We'll be trying Le Cellier on our trip (that we're leaving for on Saturday, yeaaaaaaah!), and I've been looking forward to that cheddar soup. But the restaurant doesn't seem to get great reviews around here so I was a little worried. Glad to hear a good report!

I have also seen quite a few negative reviews lately. We just have never had anything less then a great experience there.

Good to know. Glad you had a good experience.
We haven't been since it went 2TS. BUT, that's just because we've not been to WDW since 2011! Le cellier is on our list for next year!

We have been twice for dinner and always have a great meal. I get the mushroom fillet and the maple Creme brûlée for dessert. The other 2 in the family have food allergies so they share a plain steak with a potato and veggies. We will be back there in Dec.

It was our favorite meal during our last trip, also! I got the fillet while everyone got the NY Strip. I gave them each a piece with the risotto and truffle butter sauce and they agreed that it was incredible!

Glad to hear good reviews! My DH and DS rave about their steaks cutting "like butter", DH also gets the mushroom filet! They always been happy, but I have seen more negative recently. The time DD and I went w/them(we usually split up since its 2 credits and we're not steak lovers) I actually had the best chicken Caeser salad I ever had, along with my soup and bread! Really want to try Via Napoli's pizza next time, too.

I didnt care for my meal (strip steak) when i dined there a couple years back. Steak was too fatty, just overall not a great meal. I'd love to give them another try though. My dining schedule is packed for this trip...so maybe next year. Glad you had a nice meal OP. :wave2: Its always nice to hear positive reviews.

To each, his own. Glad you enjoyed your meal and didn't feel ripped off afterward. :)

The only place I've ever felt ripped off was after eating at Tony's Town Square. Le Cellier is our traditional last meal for our Disney trips and it is always 2 dining credits well spent.

My problem is that I was there many times when it was 1 credit or just priced regularly. First time I ate there was 1999.

Love LeCellier my sister and I split the filet meal and enjoy every bite. My bother in law always gets the rib eye is it off the menu?

I agree that the food at LeCellier is very good. But I don't like using my 2 credits to eat at a restauranret where you are right on top of the table next to you. When we went there was not even enough room for some one to walk between our tables and it felt like I was listening in our their conversations. This should not happen and it thus it was not a great overall experience for us. We have found other 2 credit restaurants where the overall dinning experience is worth the 2 credits

We haven't been to LeCellier since it went to two credits, it was delicious but we just couldn't justify it with the kids.I've heard so many negative things about it since. Glad to hear so many people still love it. Maybe we will try to work it back into the rotation when the kids are old enough to appreciate it.

Glad to hear you had such a great experience, it doesn't happen often on here. It is my H's favorite meal anywhere and I hope we have a wonderful experience in like 70 something days too.

I thoroughly enjoyed my food there.
It probably was the best I ate at WDW.
HOWEVER I'm not sure if I could handle going again due to the atmosphere.
It was sooooo loud and soooo dark and we were soooo close to everyone that I could have LITERALLY picked food off of other guest's plates at different tables.

To me the food tasted great. My problem was that I am not used to eating food as rich as that soup and the sides, so it made me sick. If your stomach is used to that, it is tasty.
