It looks like the menu was just updated this month. Does anyone know if the "Chefs Favorite" (appetizer/entree/dessert for $36.99) is included on the basic dining plan???

Also, kids menu - do they get to pick appy, entree, dessert here too?

This sounds like what is being called the "pilot menu" and yes, you can get three courses on the basic dining plan if you stick to that menu.

Kids on the dining plan can always pick three courses, but they must pick off the official children's menu. Does the pilot menu have a children's menu?

What is a "pilot menu"? Does this mean come next Dec they may not still have that option? :confused3 I saw it on Allears website. I didn't know if there were any 'exceptions' on the menus when you have the dining plan.

As for the kids menu...DUH! :rolleyes1 I had the wrong restaruant up...but same question applies. The kids menu in question was Tutto Italia - they don't have a kids "meal" but choices for appy, entree and dessert...all individually priced. Even the drinks are separately priced. :confused3 So that would still be ok on the basic dining plan, right?

THANKS!

It means they are trying it out. You are correct that it may not be an option in the future. If you are talking about December 2009, there isn't any way to determine with certainty what any restaurant will be doing that far in the future.

Children 3-9 on any dining plan can pick three courses from the children's menu at any restaurant. Have not seen anything that says they can't do it at Tutto. A children's dining plan TS meal consists of appetizer, entree, dessert and drink (although all courses must be ordered from the children's menu).

Pictures of the menu. I did it myself and you can use regular DDP.

The waiter described it to me as a "pilot" menu in that it is something new they are trying. Who knows if it will even extend past this year's free dining! There's really no way of knowing right now.

THANKS TDC Nala and thanks to you also Nie0214! I would be THRILLED if more restaurants did this. I'd happily not always pick the most expensive item if I were able to get an appy instead! Yummo!
