We've eaten at Le Cellier many times before. It's one of our favorites. When I just booked it for me, the CM informed me that's it's business casual (no shorts, etc.). It's never been that way. So I said, "Is this a new policy?" and he said "No." What gives? Do you think he just didn't know what he was talking about. Last time we went we went straight from whatever we were doing in Epcot. ??? Anyone know? TIA!

Unless they have recently revised their policy, it's theme park casual. It wouldnt make much sense having anything else in a theme park :confused3

Exactly. That's what I thought. I was so confused when he said that. I think he may have been mistaken. He was nice, but a little slow. It took about 15 minutes for him to make 4 reservations. When I called back, the woman made the rest of my reservations (about 15, lol) in 10 minutes.

Booked about two months ago for next Thursday - nothing was said about a dress code.
I have heard "Business Casual" for Artist Point but was only told to not wear cut-off / tank tops - I don't own either so not a problem but they are not clear on this at all.
Anyone else know anything.

I just made a PS - opps I mean ADR for Le Cellier and asked the CM who laughed and said are you kidding? In July we get people who wear bikini tops in to lunch! LOL!

I was told last summer that some of the restaurants were business casual...they said wear dressy shorts, pants....no tanks thongs(shoes) or swim suits....well there were people who wore flip flops and workout type shorts.
Ithink they are just trying to discourage bathing suits and men w/ hairy pits in tanks.

What about women with hairy pits and legs? :rolleyes1

I made an ADR for it yesterday and there was no mention of a dress code. Lets face it who would be walking round Epcot in August in "business casual" :sunny: :sunny: :confused3

We have had a couple of experiences with Cast Members telling us things that we knew wasn't exactly correct. If we get a not so knowledgeable CM we'll just finish the one and like the other poster, call back and have a completly different and better person.

OT but...where was the Incredibles picture taken in the original post? My son is a HUGE Mr. Incredible fan!! Thanks!!!!

We made our ADR's a few weeks ago for our late May trip ... I was not told of any dress code for Le Cellier but we were told "Business Casual" for NARCOOSSEE'S. We are planning on cutting the day short at the MK so that we can all go back to CBR to shower and get dressed up for our 8:00 dinner ... we were told that there would be ABSOLUTELY NO t-shirts, jeans, shorts, flip flops, tank tops, “ripped anything” and that men must wear a shirt with a collar but that a formal jacket is not required.
I was surpized that such a code was inforce during the summer but we are still looking forward to our speical dinner.

I was there last month and shorts and a t-shirt. Got great service :)

I aggree with the posters here. When we ate there it was park attire. Who would want to wear business casual in a theme park during the summer in Florida??..smjj

We had it taken at the end of the Disney Animation "tour" in DS/MGM. Unfortunately, it's not there anymore. Last time I heard it was Chicken Little. I guess they changed based on the movie that's out. Last I heard they were in the Timekeeper building. Hope that helps somewhat.

Yeah. That's why I was so confused about the business casual. You're walking around a park all day. I think he was new. I called back and got a better person.

OT, but have any of you seen the video of opening day at Disneyland? All the daddies in white shirts w/ties, dress slacks and sport jackets, mommies in almost ankle length desses with a ton of crinolin [sp] uderneath and hats on their heads, little boys in button down shirts, long slacks, and dress shoes, and little girls in dresses, also with crinolin underneath, patent leather shoes and white socks, boy park casual has sure changed in 50 years.
