We just made ADR for our upcoming trip. Le Cellier was booked every night from Aug. 10-17......I couldnt believe it. We ended up booking it for lunch, but in looking at the lunch menu I'm not impressed. We are on DDP (not free). We are only going to Epcot on 1 day. Any suggestions for this situation??? Is there anything I can do besides call every day trying to hit on a cancellation?? Would you choose Coral Reef for dinner over Le Cellier for lunch??

So far we have:
Cap n Jacks
O'hannas
Whispering Canyon
Prime Time 50's
Concourse Steakhouse

PS. Wouldnt that be big red flag if you owned a rest. that was booked every day to maybe add on????
Thanks in advance.

actually i have eaten there twice at lunch and i was satisfied. there were even dinner choices on the lunch menu. i have never tried coral reef so i have no opinion

We actually prefer lunch over dinner at Le Cellier. Coral Reef is good but I actually think you get more for the money at Le Cellier. If you are into watching fish while eating try Coral Reef. However, I find the menu very limited there for my tastes. You could do one for lunch and one for dinner. We aren't big eaters so we would make an early lunch and a late dinner so that we were hungry enough to enjoy both! Good luck with your choice.

You are only 3 months out, and Le Cellier is very popular. I'm not surprised (it is harder to get than CRT). Lunch is very good, though - they don't have the mushroom filet, but they do have a petite filet which has been excellent each time I've had it.

Keep calling an tryin for dinner I was told the same thing only the 2nd time I called I got the dinner at LeCellier. They do get cancelations.

How many in your party tho? Seems smaller parties does better at that than larger. We are a party of 2 that really helped me with all my ADR's that I just made last week for Sept.

I called the week after the 180 day window and got the shut down for sept 24-30th...when I've called back to make changes I've had no luck....FYI(oh...6 in our party)

I've been trying all month to get a Sept dinner there. I have a lunch but we really wanted dinner. SO far no luck but I keep calling and looking for cancellations.

keep trying guys, yesterday I cancelled LC for dinner on 09/30 at 5.30pm ... so people will make changes all the time.

Good Luck

We prefer the menu at lunch! And the bill is high enough in there that it more than covers using it on the ddp.

They don't rush you as much as lunchtime also. And in August, we prefer to eat our sit down meal during the heat of the day/thunderstorm time, and have our (cooler) evenings free to walk around and figure out how many calories we can squeeze out of a snack credit :)

I have only been there for lunch but have been 4 times and it is excellent. WAsnt rushed like someone said and the menu is pretty dinner like, meaning you still have a couple of steak choices and bigger meals and its not just sandwiches and such. IF you cant get dinner y ou realy wont be dissapointed in lunch.

I was trying for Le Cellier for 9/29-Oct 7 for dinner and couldn't get anything. Then I booked a lunch, but when I went on All ears to look at the menu, I realized it was different than last year. They seemed to have taken off the steak with the maple glaze sauce. That was my favorite. Overall the menu seemed different. Maybe lunch will be ok???

Thanks in advance.

No, I can't really imagine doing that. I don't see how they could increase the seating at Le Cellier without impacting the shops and attractions in the rest of the pavillion.

Actually, I'm pretty sure they have a rehab scheduled and the plan is to add more tables. Can't remember which post it was, but read it here.

The 4 day rehab should be done (I have no clue what was done during that time). I'm not quite sure where they could add more tables, the restaurant is really packed with tables.

I called last Friday for a mid Nov. date and couldn't get my party of 6 together. I booked 4 and 2 in order to get in on the day and time I wanted.

What are the chances that LeCellier could become a Signature Dining restaurant in the future? It appears to be the 1 TS credit restaurant in highest demand right now.

Does Disney get a financial incentive from a restaurant being a 2 TS restaurant? If so, I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen.

DH tried to get Le Cellier for any night from August 26-September 3rd. CM said no way, you need to call at exactly 180 days for Le Cellier. She added that its tougher to get than Cinderella's breakfast!
