Le Cellier booked through the new year!!

We were there this Monday, December 5. As we were waiting, I heard several people turned away with the information that they had no openings until after the new year.

The food was very good, with the exception that my husband's pork loin was tough, but the service was poor. We would not go back, because of the long wait to get in and the poor service.

You can get pretzel bread at the Swan, by the way.

I am glad I booked the CP package so early. We see the CP at 5 pm and have an ADR for 7pm on 12/17. I booked this in August. At the time, I knew I wanted Le Cellier, CP viewing I could get and be able to eat at Le Cellier was 5pm. The rest was booked for Le Cellier. I would rather eat after anyways. This way we avoid having to rush from the restaurant to the CP because we were sat late at the restaurant.

We were there that night too! We had great service from Carla- but it did take a long time to get our food. Our waitress had a very large party also. What time were you there? We waited less than 20 minutes for our table... ADR was 5:20... I wonder if they get behind as the night goes on.

Le Cellier is booked solid due to the Candlelight - or "advanced prepaid resservations". These are people who likely won't cancel, I wasn't able to make one at Le Cellier for our night even a couple of months ago.

That is why it is easier to get in for lunch. Granted, it is often sold out for dinner anyway, and lunch isn't always as easy - but much easier, as guests normally want to use their dining credits for higher priced options (like dinner).
