We were at EPCOT this past week for Mousefest. One day (Nov. 30), I was sitting inside Le Cellier entrance waiting for my friend to get the Cheddar cheese soup to go. Anyway, people were comiing in asking if there was availability for dinner. The CM was telling everyone, "We are booked through the new year for both lunch and dinner." We left when the soup came so I didn't ask the CM about this. But, I thought I couldn't possibly have heard right. Well, later in the week (Dec. 3), I was sitting outside Le Cellier at the benches by the greeter area. Several people came up and asked about availability. I heard the same thing that they were booked through the new year.

So, I hope everyone has their reservations!!!! I know some people like to wait until that day to make ADRs since they want to see where they will be that day, etc. But it doesn't look like you can do that anymore.

P.S. I was surprised by the amount of people that were walking up and asking about availability (not just at Le Cellier, but elsewhere too). In a short 5 minute time period, I saw about 10 families come up and ask for availability at Le Cellier.

On Saturday, I tried to get an ADR for Dec. 21 for dinner. The only times they had open were after 9 p.m.

Le Cellier is a hard restaurant to get since it was on the dining plan - for only one credit, it is one of the best value (if not the best value) on the plan.

We ate at Le Cellier for the first time ever on Saturday 12/03 and it was hands down, the best meal we have ever had at any WDW restaurant. This was the choice for our CP dinner package which I made the day the tickets went on sale in August. Now I know why Le Cellier is so popular! It was fantastic and worth every penny!

This post freaked me out, because we planned to go there for lunch when we are there the 15-26th, but now that we are staying off-property at my parents, it's hard to plan any sort of schedule. But I had DH call, and he was able to reserve lunch for 2 on the date we decided we wanted (the 20th) with no problem.

I just made ADR's for our June trip and got Le Cellier, but interestingly enough, at greater than 180 days out, I could not get my preferred time in early June...the only choices were about 40 minutes earlier or later. I can't blame anyone...this place is wonderful!

I called just today to make reservations for "anytime" December 27 or 28 and they gave me several choices for lunch.

This post made me nervous, too, so I called and booked our dinner for the end of January. I imagine that Le Cellier is one of the more popular choices for the dining plan b/c its only one TS credit. I asked for 7pm and they had 7:10pm. Glad they aren't booked...yet!

When I called to make our ADRs for our January trip we took the last opening for that day! This was about a week or two ago.

We had dinner at LeCellier on Monday Nov 28. Our reservation was for 4:00 and when we got there at 3:30 I was surprised that there was already a bunch of people waiting to be seated. I wasn't sure if they were there for late lunches or early dinners. They were able to let one family in without a ressie-the rest they turned away. By the way, our meal was fabulous!

We made 2 ressie's for our trip 5/28-6/8 with all times available (made a little more than 180 days out). With the new policy, I think it will be very hard to get, even at 90 days. Good luck everyone...Pretzel bread....here I come! :wave2:

We just returned from WDW last night and yes, anyone who goes to WDW without ADRs is setting themselves up for disappointment. As we walked into MK on Sunday there was a sign outside of the townhall saying there are NO TABLE service restraurants available for all of MK for Sunday (B/L/D)...the signed recommended counterservice. As we sat in the 50s PT for dinner that night and watched people get turned away, the CM was telling them they had no opennings until WEDNESDAY and this was Sunday. We had a 7:50PM ressies and the restrurant was openned until 9:30PM for seatings and they took no walkins. It was EMH night and there were ALOT of unhappy people. It took 40 minutes before we were seated and we didn't eat until 9:00PM. This was the longest we have ever waited at this restraurant before. My daughter had to feed the baby, babyfood in the lobby while we waited. I think the days of walkins are quickly becoming a thing of the past.

We just came back and Le Cellier was fabulous. We had ressies for 2:20 on tuesday, but arrived at 2:00. We didn't get a table until almost 3. Everyone was turned away who requested seating while we waited, although there were several empty tables :confused3

We missed our Chef Mickey time so tried several places to get seating on saturday. The only place available was Kona at the Poly. Even then we had to wait a while.

I'm not surprised! We ate there for the first time on our trip last month and it was the best meal I think I ever had at WDW! I absolutely love the cheddar cheese soup. We just booked a trip for my birthday in March, and I was afraid it was already too late to get an ADR there the night of my birthday, but I was able to get 4:10...a little earlier than I would have liked, but as long as I get to eat there on my birthday I'll be happy :Pinkbounc

I'll be there on Sat. for my CP dinner package reservation. It's our first time eating there and I have 4 people along with me this time who have never been to WDW so I'm glad to hear such rave reviews! I'm also glad that I booked so far in advance, lol!

My DW and I also had trouble getting a Le Cellier resy this past week, but managed to get a lunch resrvation for Sunday afternoon. This is one of our favorite restaurants, but I must admit I was disappointed this time with the "Prime Rib" sandwich. It seemed more like "Steakum's" to me, definitely not the same quality as the last time I had it. The cheese soup was still outstanding, however :)

Lunch is easier to get than dinner (but can still be pretty well booked on many days).

Just got ressies for lunch on the 19th. Pretty much had my pick of times.

It doesn't seem to be a big problem to call ahead for times. But if you just want to show up to WDW without the ADRs, then you are in trouble.

Last December we had a CP Dinner Package booked and were running to make it. The busses at the POFQ quit running apparently and we ended up being almost an hour late to Le Cellier. We got there and told them we had to cancel since we were so late. The CM at thhe desk called the manager and the manager told us not to leave she would seat us immediately. SO we were seated and then the Head chef came out and took our order personally and put a rush on our order. As we were eating (WAYYYY TOOOO FAT BTW) the manger came by and said "Sloow down and enjoy the meal." I said we couldnt cause we had desert to eat to and were going to be late to the CP. She said eat what you can and after the CP come back and we could finish ordering and eating the rest of the food for our package. So we finished everything but the dessert and came back afterward for a nice end to a wonderful day. This probably doesnt go in this thread but I was in the mood to tell it. THANKS LE CELLIER STAFF
