I just booked Le Cellier and asked how many table service credits would be used per person. The CM said it was still only 1 credit but that the menu is now divided so that some of the more expensive meals and not available to those of us using the dining plan. Has anyone been recently and can confirm? I am trying to plan my credits and I don't want to be surprised when I get there and be charged 2 credits per person.

Thanks,
Joanne

First I heard of this but Le Cellier is listed #1 on all the lists that tell you how to get the largest dollar value of food under the plan. I can't imagine they're happy about that. I don't have any problem if they exclude or surcharge the most expensive items as long as they don't do anything extreme like exclude all steaks. ;)

I was there on 6/4/05 and did not see the menu divided in any way. In fact, I ordered the surf and turf and LeCeller ended up being our most expensive MYW Dinning meal of the week.

I was just told the Le Cellier is definitely a single table service credit and no special exceptions apply. I'll be digging in there in Sept

to be honest, I hope they don't divide or do surcharges. Just raise it to 2 points. The last thing I feel like figuring out is what is what. Just give me point numbers and be done with it.

And on another note, one of restaurants is going to be the highest prices for a 1 point and another will be the lowest prices for 2 points. If they start changing things before I get there I am going to be annoyed.

We ate there last night and it was one TS credit per person. Nothing was excluded from the menu. My husband and I rang up a $136.00 bill. The server said we were allowed 2 nonalcoholic drinks, so we got iced teas and a cranberry smoothie for DD6, then we didn't have to pay extra for her drink. She loved the smoothie. My husband had the surf and turf.

This was our best meal...... we loved having lunch there, and I would definately go there for dinner next time!

It was one TS credit. I asked our waitress, and she heard that there was still debates about bringing it back to 2, or having limited choices at 1.

When Disney came out w/ the MYW+Dining in Jan., LeCellier was 2 TS meals. Recently, they decided to change it to 1. Awesome deal, IMO. I work at the Res. center and we have alot of happy callers lately! :) DH & I went recently and had lunch- $125. Worth using your TS meals there!

I hope they go the surcharge route, like at Planet Hollywood and Wolfgang. I'd much rather spend $5/$10 per entree instead of using up 2 TS credits.

We read the same thing about 2 weeks ago. I called Disney dining to figure out what it really was. They said 1 and that it had not changed. Also, I noticed it was changed on the Mousesavers sight. Good luck! :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :grouphug: :umbrella: 8 weeks till our trip to POFQ

We ate there Friday evening and were charged 1 TS per person. It was delicious!! We didn't receive a limited menu and were not told of any exclusions. The bill for 2 adults and 2 children was approx. $150.

Thanks so much for the replies, everyone! I have never tried Le Cellier and I'm so looking forward to it.

We ate there on Sun, June 12th. The only thing that would have been extra is if you wanted to add a lobster tail to your entree. Everything else was included in the plan.
