Le Cellier and Dining Plan ~ Could someone please explain :)

I know they are changing it to 2 TS for dinner, but if I'm correct lunch is staying at 1 TS. My question is what do you get with your meal at lunch? The menu isn't very clear, or maybe its just me. Do you get an entree and a choice of side? Or do certain sides come with certain entrees? Assuming since the cheddar cheese soup that's raved about is an appetizer you would have to pay out of pocket for it. I appreciate any info you can give me on this...dh has been wanting to eat here forever. :goodvibes

For the regular meal plan it would be like normal, one entree, one dessert and one non-alcoholic drink. You can order the "Chef's favorite" which is a pre-set three course meal (including an appatizer) on the DDP. If you're on the deluxe plan, it's like normal: appatizer, entree, dessert, drink.

No different than any other TS meal on the DDP.

Above poster is correct.
BUT be aware that when the new policy of 2TS credits hits March 1st, there is to be a NEW menu at LeCellier.

We don't know what it will be, no one knows if it will be just dinner changing or what. So keep your eyes and ears open for the change coming.

Regarding sides, assuming the same basic menu (see above), the "sides" are not included with DDP. An entree plate will typically have a starch and a vegetable along with (or as part of) the main dish; the "sides" are extras that you can add to your meal, but out-of-pocket.

Thanks so much for the clarifications! :thumbsup2 Do those of you who have eaten there think it's worth a TS at lunch or should I look elsewhere. I know opinions will differ here. Geez...why is it always so hard to decide where to eat? :rotfl:

As it stands today, I feel yes, its worth a TS lunch, but if they dummy down the new menu I may just pass on it. I've got to believe that since dinner is going to 2 credits, lunch is going to be that much harder to get based on their reputation.
