The hubster has been wanting a new TV for a while now. I've taken the hint, as he will routinely pull out sales fliers and say 'So and so has a flat screen for x amount." So I told him that we'd use some tax return money and buy one.
Anyway, I am the techie gaget guru of our family. The hubster knows nothign else than "it's a flat screen." He doesn't understand the specs and what does what. I have to admit it's a bit foreign to me too. I see things like 1080p (how's that different from 720p which are cheaper), 120hz (versus 60hz), HDMI ports, PC port, USB port.
Aside from setting a price, what should I be looking for in a TV. So far the techie in me says I want 1080p, 120 hz and as many ports that one can have. Am I going overboard?
