Lbv South Or Lbv North

when we arrive we want to go off site and do a bit of shopping, have something to eat and then do a grocery shop. i know first day there and that is want they want to do, go figure, but ds and dh wants to do this, now looking at the map of lbv there seems to be 2 areas lbv south and lbv north we have not got a car and will be getting a taxi there. in your opinion which would be the best one to do.

First of all where are you staying ?

DTD is in/near LBV so will be an easy taxi ride or even an ok ish walk depending on where your hotel is. There are plenty of restaurants/shops around the Crossroads area which is right on the edge of Disney property.

If any of your group can drive I would strongly suggest you hire a car as everything in Orlando is spread out and while on a map it looks like you are close to things in LBV every where is a bit of a journey, especially if you dont have a car imho.

I think what you are looking for is the Lake Buena Vista outlet, which is a bit away from LBV area, its on SR535. There is a Converse outlet store there http://www.lbvfs.com/Orlando-Outlet-Coupons.cfm click here for a 10% voucher.

There is also a Converse outlet store up at the new Prime Outlets, formerly Belz, top of International Drive.

Are you talking about your first evening, or your first full day? I'm guessing the latter, but obviously the advice is going to differ depending on how much time you've got.

To keep everything within an easily manageable area, I'd suggest the Orlando Premium Outlets. This is a popular and pleasant outdoor discount mall and it includes a Converse outlet. On the approach road (Little Lake Bryan) are several good options for eating, including a new branch of Carrabba's, a Bahama Breeze and a Lone Star Steakhouse. Literally just beyond the Premium Outlets (as you approach the juction with I-Drive, from memory) is a Publix supermarket as well as an Outback Steakhouse.

Deb your link takes you to the parent company, if you click on Converse it shows the outlets Converse is at, Orlando isn't listed.
