Lazy question...

I'm sure this info could be found if I looked hard (or at alll). But, with all the talk of room conditions:

When was each resort was last refurbished or built (or when are they due) as I would like to factor that into future stays? Is there a schedule somewhere?

Is it really every 5 years? I just stayed at OKW and it seemed the furnishings were over 5 years old. At any rate, that seems like a long time, considering DVC rents out our rooms to non-DVC members...

From my perspective, they seem to be constantly doing it at OKW. Which buidling were you in at OKW? At the annual meeting earlier this month, they said the upper number buildings were being refurbed. All the appliances were changed out in the past year, and new sleep sofas and pots, pans and dishes were put in as well as bedpreads, mattresses, DVDs etc. When a complete refurb is done on a building, they will also replace some tile, carpets, hard wood floors etc. As far as I can tell, they have never replaced plumbing fixtures etc.

I think alot of the items are in a "rolling basis". Painting and carpeting, where they have to shut rooms down, is less often. I know they replaced the appliances at OKW but I think BWV is the original.
