We always fly non stop. This coming trip the non stop flights are very high. My choices are 1 stop in Raleigh/ Durham with a 34 min. layover or Kennedy in NY with a 50 min. layover. Is this doable? I would prefer RDU, but we have never been to either of these airports. Can anyone give me any advice on this?

Thanks Belle

What airline? 34 minutes is tight and JFK sucks. You might have better chances at RDU especially with luggage.

BTW, a stop is quite different than a layover....and technically it is a connection, as layovers are 4+ hours. It is possible, but not gaurenteed, the same aircraft will continue down to MCO.

It's with Freedom Air, booked thru Delta. Delta calls it a 34 min. layover. The aircraft is the same, but the flight number changes. With that info, I just assumed I would be changing planes. I really have no experience with layovers as we only fly non stop. If it were only a stop and we and our luggage did not leave the plane, that would that would great.:)

Thanks Belle

( I think we'll stay clear of Kennedy, thanks.)
