What is in each room ?
and am I right in that you don't pay any extra money for the room but you do if the room is adjoining.
There will be one disabled adult and 2 teens, boy and girl, non of which will share beds
Thanks

Connecting rooms are rooms that next to each other, with a door between them, that can be locked from both sides..actually a seperate door on each side. Adjoining rooms are rooms that can be next to each other but have no connecting doors.
So...I'm not sure what your question is. If you book two rooms, connecting or adjoining, you will pay for two rooms. Each room will be exactly like the other room...two double beds, an armoir with TV, and drawers for clothing. A table and two chairs, a vanity area with hanging clothes area, and a bath/toilet area.
I'm not sure what you meant by 'you don't pay any extra for the room but do it it's adjoining.'

Thanks Di,
I thought for some reason that connecting rooms maybe had one bed in one room and one bed or two singles in the other room so that in effect it was the same cost as an ordinary room but a different layout.

Have you considered the family suites at the AllSTars? They took two rooms, and made a master in one room and room for 4 more in the second room, with sofas and chairs that turn into beds. It's pretty cool. And they have a mini-kitchen to boot.

If you are referring to HA rooms, then many have a king size bed, in that case because your total number of guest is more than can be accomodated in the HA room but would be accomodated in a standard room, the practice is to give you a second(generally connecting)room at no extra charge. If however the resort has a HA room with two beds then you would not get an extra room at no charge.

I have already booked POP for next Easter on a package holiday and requested connecting rooms. They may charge us extra at the resort if we get the rooms, so I am not sure what to do right now or even if I can find out the extra cost before we go

You need to be more clear in explaining what you mean about "extra". If you reserve one room, you will be charged for one room. If you reserve two rooms, you will be charged for two rooms. You will not be charged "extra" to have the rooms connect because, aside from this not being an extra-cost thing, it is never 100% guaranteed. Why do you think you will be charged "extra" for connecting rooms?

Do you need a handicap room? Did you reserve a HA room? Or did you just reserve two rooms, thinking thats what you need. If you need to make sure every one has thier own bed then I think you will need two rooms. If you reserve a HA room(just one) there is a good chance you will get two rooms for the one price. This is done because the HA rooms usually only have one bed, but Disney makes sure you can still sleep the same number of people if you had a standard room without "penalizing" someone who really needs an accessible room.

What do you need, what did you reserve? Lets us(the Dis) know and we will try to help.
