Layout Challenge #4 - Winner in post 58!

:woohoo: I did it AND I used Swapped items too.

The topper and tags are believen's from the Super Sports and More swap.
I made the mats & border to match. I used the paper tearer to rip the edges. I used some water to distress the mats a little more and then inked everything. Even the twill tape. I also inked the background paper with three different colors to make it look distressed. I tore paper. :yay: I'm so proud of me.

Great LO AWM!

I think I can do this one. I love to rip and use chalk. I do it all the time so this won't really be a challenge for me. The real challenge will be getting done to my room and getting pages done. :rotfl:

very nice! Great you were able to use some swap items.

Thanks. I dislike ripping. I feel weird doing it. I actually chewed on the one end to get it to tear the way I wanted. TMI? :rotfl2:

AWM - that looks great. I love tearing and inking paper - there's something satisfying about giving yourself permission to "mess" things up.

don't you remember the cool grundged map and pirate set you made the kiddos!!!!! :)

oh yeah!!! I liked those pieces!

I have that messy thing down to a science. ;)

I'm getting in late, but I am definitely going to get in on this. Maybe the vacumming I need to do can wait!....................P

I have an idea.. just need to see if it will work!!!! ;) I hope to get to it tomorrow while I'm working on the T'n' T angel spots and pulling paper for another angel swap...

Okay, I am done. It was definitely a "quicky" but I am satisfied with the results. The blue and green squares, as well as the photo mats and journaling mats are all crumpled and ironed and inked.

I know I had trouble posting it as a photo instead of a link last time and someone suggest putting in img instead of url, but I am baffled as to what exactly that means.... sorry!
Thanks for looking and thanks to the OP for posting the challenge.............P

Can I still join in?

I was just posting in the Oct. page challenge and read about this so I came to check it...and what do you know I just did this layout today w/ tearing fancy vellum for my layout. Plan to use the left over pieces for photo mating on another layout. It's not much but I love to tear pages to add another element and fun...I have even torn photo edges
