LAX transport

We're only 5 days away before our family trip!!!

So, we have a minor issue. My mother wasn't able to get the full time off for the trip. We are driving up on Monday and spending our first of five days at the parks on Tuesday. My mother will be flying in to meet us on Wednesday night and will spend three days at the park.

My question is whether there are any type of transports from LAX that are affordable even for people not staying on site. If so, where do they get dropped off? We're staying at the Islander Inn and she will be arriving at 9ish. We can always pick her up but I was just wondering if some type of shuttle would be easier.

Also, I've read from posts that are a few years old that DL doesn't do any type if souvenir cups for (somewhat) cheaper refills on drinks or popcorn or anything like that. Is this still the case? My mother loves popcorn and will probably be buying quite a bit

First, I would call your hotel to ask which shuttles from LAX drop off right there. Ask if you could get a discount through the hotel. Your mom could take Super Shuttle or the Disneyland Express bus (that drops off in front of the DLH and may go to other hotels in the area, too). You are correct that DLR does not sell refill mugs or popcorn buckets. There are souvenir travel mugs and cups and popcorn buckets, but they do not come with free refills. Single serve only, I'm afraid. The only free refill that I know of is for regular coffee at the Market House in DL. Keep your receipt and show it to the CM to get a free coffee refill.
