LAX to DL on Friday at 5pm!!

Our flight into LAX lands at 430pm on Friday November 10th. I'm afraid traffic is going to be horrendous!
My plan was to just UBER to DL but I'm not sure if the traffic will affect the price too much. Would I be better with the shuttle (4 people) or possibly grabbing an early dinner and leaving LA later?

You are really going to need UBERx for a party with 4 with luggage. Yes traffic will be bad, I would probably either do a shuttle or a private car that you can schedule in advance, they seem to be about the same price is the oversized UBERS and a lot more reliable. No point in waiting, traffic will be bad for a while.

I'd expect traffic to be better than usual due to it being a holiday.
No school for one. Plus banks as well as State and Federal buildings are closed too.
I know there's always traffic but with the holiday most people are not going home from work at that time.

Thanks! I'll check them out. I think maybe you meant UberXL, but we've always been fine with regular UberX. Just me and 3 kids..all on the small size for their age.

That is a great point! We'll probably just head out and hope for the best. I'm not sure I could stall the kids for long anyway!

I work/live in the area and traffic won't start getting better until around 7:30pm, unless, as Geemo said, it's lighter because of no school and some people get it off.
