We will be visiting the Los Angeles area in August. As part of our trip, we will be visiting Disneyland. We are staying at the Radisson LAX during our stay, and I am trying to find the best way to get from our hotel to Disneyland. I am aware of the shuttle services available from our hotel to the park, but I am trying to find something that's more flexible and doesn't require reservations. Since we are staying so close to LAX, is there roundtrip transportation from LAX to Disneyland for those who are not staying at a Disneyland hotel?

A taxi might be your best bet (expensive??) if you don't want to reserve something. I don't know if the shuttle services - Prime Time, SuperShuttle, etc. would actually go to Disneyland versus a hotel, but they recommend reserving a time. You could always phone them and ask.

This is something I'm interested in too. I want to go for my first trip in a couple of months, and I want to stay at a resort close to DL, but I'm worried about transportation from LAX/SSA to the resort, and back to the airport. Also, what do you do with your luggage if your check in/check out time is far away from your arrival/departure time?

There are several shuttles that run from LAX to Disneyland - SuperShuttle, Disneyland Resort Express (motorcoach/bus), Primetime Shuttle, as well as some other, lesser known ones.

If you wanted to, you could take the hotel shuttle to LAX, & catch one of the shuttles headed to DL. You do not have to have a reservation, however, you might not be able to get on the first shuttle if it's already full.

If the shuttle doesn't go directly to the park, just have them drop you off at the Grand Californian Hotel or Best Western Park Place Inn (on Harbor Blvd) for quick access to the parks.

You could do Supper Shuttle. They make reservations, but they are not required. Service is very quick and easy.

I did the Super Shuttle two weekends ago. It's dirt cheap ($28 per person roundtrip) and very easy. I will definitely be doing that again.

we took Mickey's Space Shuttle and were thrilled with the price ($48 for our family of 4) and the driver was super friendly. Don't arrange ahead of time, just call when you arrive and let them know the airline.

We used Disneyland Resort Express from LAX last year and it was just fine. Met our needs completely and we didn't have to wait long at all for it to arrive.
