LAX hotel?

Hi. We have an early 6.30am flight from LAX and thinking it might be easier to stay at hotel at the airport the night before so we can drop the hire car off and so it’s not such a rush in the morning. I have no experience of LAX at all. We have flights with Delta which I believe is Terminal 2. Are there any hotels that anyone can recommend? Are there any that wouldn’t require a shuttle to the airport from the hotel that we can walk to close to the terminal?

For the record it will be an early Saturday flight so will it just be easier to travel from Anaheim very early the day of the flight?

Thanks

Easiest would be if you can just drop off the car at your LAX hotel, several have car rental desks. Then just return it on Friday night and shuttle straight from the hotel to the airport next morning. So who is your car rental with?
If that’s not an option you’d just drive to the rental drop off on the Saturday morning dn catch the shuttle from there to the terminal.
las for proximity, they are closing but it would mean dragging your luggage about half a mile to a mile to the Delta Terminal.
Option B of travelling from Anaheim is not something I’d advise for an early morning flight. Having to leave by 4am at the latest, probably more like 3am to 3-30am, can really put a dampener on your holiday.
Option C is stay somewhere like Manhattan Beach on the Friday night. It’s a much more pleasant area than LAX and only about 10-15 mins from the car rental drop off (again, depending on which company you are using). Means you could go out for a nice dinner and wander along the beach on your last night rather than been holed up in your hotel room.

Thank you. Car rental is with Avis but not sure if I change the drop off location as it’s part of my flight and car package with British Airways.

Don’t think there are any Avis rental desks in LAX Hotels anyway, someone can correct me if I’m wrong.
All the LAX hotels are pretty typical airport hotels so I’d just stick with the major brands and go on price. Hyatt Regency is the closest to your terminal but there are Sheraton/Marriott and Hilton hotels nearby, all pretty safe bets.
Not familiar with Manhattan Beach Hotels but have enjoyed my visits to the area.
Have a great trip.

Several years ago, we stayed Marriott LAX for our early am flight. Caught the shuttle with the flight crews.

Courtyard Marriott LAX. It's as close to the terminal as you can get, has a shuttle, and is a very nice and reasonably priced hotel.

The Hyatt at LAX was awesome for our early flight.....views of the runway, next to the terminal, and free shuttle!

We have done the Hilton, which is very nice. When that was too expensive we've done the Embassy Suites, which is a little longer shuttle ride but has a great included early breakfast.

Embassy Suites was always my go to. They have 2 airport locations .
Need to refresh my memory.. …
South on El Segundo location…
Well the reviews are all over the place.
So confusing…
