What about detergent? It says use only 2 Tablespoons. Is that regular or HE, powder/liquid?

The driers run hot, but that is needed when the humidity is high (most of the year) and clothes will take longer to dry. In the cooler drier months, check on them early.

We love to hang at the pool while we do laundry. We typically do it on our Blizzard Beach days and have a little extra time in the morning. We have also done it during our afternoon break and stayed at the pool. I can't wait to try to the new system with the credit card and no more carting quarters around. We have always had good success with good washers and dryers, though we learned to steer clear of the dryers that had a lot of condensation on the inside, those didn't dry well. We take our laundry in our suitcase with rollers. We take a garbage bag (use it to put dirty clothes in for the trip home) and line a case with it. Then we can roll it and roll it back with folded clothes. The only place I am ok with laundry!

Here now -- and sad to report that yes the dryers are way too hot. I have a load of dry fit stuff, used delicate setting and checked at 20 minutes. Most of it is ruined. It came out so hot it burned my hands. The wrinkles will not come out and sonce I have multiple colors in the same style I can see how much it has shrunk. Leeson learned -- never do laundry on vacation again.

I'm sorry to hear that! I already knew this, so most stuff I took out after a few minutes, then turned it down to medium, then it only took a short time for the rest.
Also, the default is an hour or so, but you can pay a few cents less for less drying time. I didn't need 30 minutes! Plus, first time I did two wash loads, but put it all in the same dryer.

Are you able to open the dryer to check on clothes and resume if necessary, or will you have to pay again?

You can open the dryer and restart it just fine! It keeps going for the time you purchase.

Can't believe the Poly has only 1 laundry room for hotel quest to use.
