Laundry

We will be on deck 2 our next cruise. We also fall into the will probably do laundry at least once. Anyone know where the laundry room is on deck 2?

We have been on one cruise 11 night and did laundry a few times. We are a family of 4 and would have a tough time even going a week without doing laundry. Though I certainly wouldn't complain about going on vacation and doing no laundry!

Confession of a former laundry fanatic: I decided a few cruises ago that we spent too much money on a cruise for me to waste my valuable vacation time doing laundry. We fill out the form and let the ship's laundry do it! Given a choice, I would rather spend the money on having the laundry done than going to the spa. Last time I did the math and found that laundry for DH and me for a 7 day cruise cost less than $100. Of course, I got into the habit of sending the laundry out on another cruise line that gives me "free laundry and pressing" as a perk!

I didn't want to be the first to post it...but we send it to the ship's laundry also if we need it! I especially wait to dry clean or launder any formal clothes before we go to the ship and send them the first day we board. That way they press all the wrinkles out from being packed up. I don't plan on laundry for our casual clothes, but if something happens we send it to get laundered. I got a pair of shorts back once ironed with a crease in the front. I just sighed and didn't want to wear them because I would never an ironed crease in them if I had to launder them!

We did 1 dark and 1 light load of laundry on each of our 7 day cruises and maybe 3 loads of laundry on our 11 day Med cruise. It was much harder to get a washing machine on the 11 day cruise - some people did get a little ignorant like removing people clothes from washing machines and putting it on counters wet. I wouldn't choose to do laundry but on our 12 day cruise I know I will need too, especially with the charges for luggage, we will be trimming down what we pack.
