Laundry when in studios??

When you are staying in a studio, are there any laundry facilities available? Does anyone know how much it costs per load?

There are laundries by each pool and they are free!

While thy're still free, at BCV the laundry is on the fourth floor!

Just remember to bring your own soap and dryer sheets as those are not free . Though you can, if you want, buy them from the machines in the laundry room.

I don't know about other DVC resorts, but at BCV, the first time I went to use the laundry that I'd been told was free, it had coin slots there like I was supposed to put money in. "But I thought these were free?" I thought. So I finally just pushed the coin thing in as if there were coins in it, but there weren't. Voila! The machine started. So don't be surprised if the machine looks like it needs coins (as I thought). Just push the slots in.

The same thing happened to me at OKW! I saw the coin slots and thought they must not be free for everyone. So I called the front desk and asked how DVC members were able to do their laundry for free and was told "just don't put any money in the slots and push it in". Worked just fine.

At VWL and BWV, the laundry is located on the first floors. At OKW and SSR, the laundries are located near the pools. At SSR, the largest laundry is located near the main pool. You will need your room ID to get into the laundry rooms at SSR.
